Might have a puncher's chance as does any heavyweight who can bang, but there is a vast distance between them yet. Parker is a solid proven second tier guy.
I think Bakole would be a reasonable name at this stage.

Huggy Fury would probably lose on points after stinking the joint out and glazing the eyes of any potential Itauma fans.
It's a tough stage for matching Moses, and as levels go up in opponent, so do the costs.

Chisora or Joe Joyce is as dangerous as I'd go for the time being.

Bakole or Efe Ajagba might be affordable, but possibly too risky at this point in his career.

Maybe someone like Jarrell Miller? Or an American fringe contender like say Jermaine Franklin.

I wouldn't go for a Top 10 guy just yet, but one of the more beatable guys in the Top 25 is probably the next move. Depending on how he handles that determines where you go from there.

My ideal match for the Slovakian Slumber Merchant is of course Richard Torrez Jr after Moses has a few more step ups.
The battle of the top American and British HW prospects would headline a card either side of the ditch.

Agreed. I’m a bit of a misery guts and I don’t like excessive hype and so a dull as ditchwater Hughie 117-111 points win would give me a perverse kind of pleasure in a derailing the hype kind of way.

I mean, every unbeaten prospect is unbeaten until they get beaten.

He does look good, though. But until you see how he copes with adversity and pressure, you can't know how good. And at the very top it's never an easy ride.

1, We don't know how his chin is until someone with power lands one flush.
2, We don't know his engine past 6 rounds.
3, We don't know his heart until he faces adversity.
4, We don't know if he will keep living the gym lifestyle once some decent money starts rolling in.

I mean that finishing shot today was probably the quickest, sharpest most precise shot I have ever seen for someone over 250lb (ok I’m Mabey exaggerating/getting carried away)… at a levle though…

The hype has over taken the reality for sure, but it’s promising signs. Problem is they arnt getting him active enough (in terms of rounds)… he has fought about 22 minutes in the last 22 months…

Franklin, hughie fury, guido, hunter should be his next year. All 10 rounders. Tough,l enough that a stoppage is a huge statement, decent, but not too deadly (if Moses is all that). Also But someone is going to have to get out the checkbook for them…

Also… are you saying DDDs hasn’t lived up to they hype? He is literally a world champ about to fight for undisputed … who in his last fight sparked out the biggest name in boxing over the last decade in front of a record breaking crowd at Wembley …

These are failures? If these are your examples of failing to live up to the hype I don’t see how anyone could ever live up to the hype.

Joyce was very good, he just had a lot of am fights and turned pro very late on. DD is on a very good steak,

Offensively he’s excellent but there’s always a fight that comes eventually where these guys get extended. I’ve been impressed with some of his wins but Balogun? Come on the guy is 41 and ranked 100 by boxrec. The difference between Balogun and Bakole is very big and Moses will need another fight at a higher level before going in with Bakole or the other contenders.

I like the look of him, but all this hype and jostling to anount him "the greatest ever British heavyweight " or the like a bit weird or strange given the list of fighters hes fought before.

Im sure he will fill his potential, but I've not seem anything that we wouldn't see for a prospect who is getting g pushed by a promoter

He looks the bollocks does Itauma, calm composed, great feet, looks defensively sound and hits like a mule, full package if his chin isnt porcelain

Really? I've been following heavyweight boxing closely since the late 70s and at this stage/age he is obviously the best to me. It's clear to see just by his movement, reflexes, timing, punch selection, etc.

When you add in the tales from seasoned pros up to world championship level who apparently can't handle him in sparring, no rumours of him having chin issues even against the biggest bangers in the division e.g. Dubois, and the future is bright.

Definetly got potential , BUT the hype is silly , he's not beat anyone yet who was'nt supposed to be beat .

he weighed in at 254 lbs for the Balogun fight - that's pretty heavy for someone his height (6' 2.5"), so he's incredibly agile, balanced and fast for someone that stocky. is this youth or just the way he's made? the way he moves reminds me of a dancer. he's also got the dead eyes of a killer! bit of a combo really, all up
