Before Miller gives it the woe is me act, why doesn't he tell us any other sport where you could act like he did at a press conference in the middle of the day and not have to face any consequences?

MMA?
Boxing is a combat sport.
physical.
Most time, nothing happens.
you can throw water in your opponents face, throw tables.
Did TKV get penalised?

UFC aren't bothered about language although NSAC are and issue fines that the UFC must abide by. UFC are concerned about anything they think may devalue the brand, for example Khabib got fined $500k for his post fight conduct. Bellator has fined fighters for swearing.
You can only assault opponents outside of the ring because they pretend it's scripted and let it slide. If they wanted to grass you up or take a civil action they could.

Just rewatched ddd vs miller.
fornicate it’s going to be a hard fight for wardly if miller is 300 a bit fitter and his chin remain absolute concrete…
He will land hard and often but will it be enough…
If I’m wardly I’m going the biggest boxing ring that’s legal for sure…

Yep, this is a massive step up for Fabio. Frank is right to cash Fabio in really, his heavyweight stable is big and they can't all keep winning and being his focus; this could well be Fabio's one huge fight - and it will be a cracking scrap - but if he somehow manages to win, he can run with anybody. The bookies have it well wrong based on the volume of money that has come in early backing Wardley. 15/8 for a Miller win is hard to resist. I make him a solid favourite.

All Fabio has is wildly throwing haymakers. He's game and has power. I don't see much else.

Stamina too, and a decent chin
Also being a bit unschooled means a lot of punches land as he is unorthadox

He is really unpredictable, even a well schooled amateur like big Frazier couldn't get a handle on him.
Big fan here.

Wardley - Clarke 1 was fought at a much faster pace than this will be fought at.
If Wardley gets beat I would imagine it’ll be facial damage or a huge shot. Miller isn’t grinding him down or making him quit. No chance.

If anyone hasn't seen Clarke Vs Wardley 1 Sky have graciously loaded the whole fight including ring walks all in HD.
It was an amazing heavyweight fight that has been overshadowed a bit in a year full of amazing heavyweight fights.
Edit: it's worth watching again

I really don't think Miller can hang with this.
Gawd I forgot how bad Frazier's face looked after the ref waved it off. Like a slab of cheese melting off a baked potato .
Re: Fabio Wardley vs. Jarrell Miller | DAZN - 7 June 2025
Fabio Wardley will box for the world heavyweight title within the next 12 months if he can beat Jarrell Miller.
That was the roadmap laid out by promoter Frånk Warrẽn, who has matched Wardley with Big Baby Miller for the WBA interim title at Ipswich Town’s Portman Road on June 7.
Undefeated Wardley, 30, is currently 18-0-1 (17) and has climbed to No.9 in the Ring Magazine rankings while he is currently the No.1 ranked heavyweight with the WBA.
As such, they have agreed to sanction this 12-round showdown for their interim title and Warren says that will line him up perfectly for a world title shot.
The Hall of Fame promoter told The Ring: “If he wins this he will fight for the world title within 12 months. He beats him and he won’t sit around waiting, he will have a fight or two in between but a world title within a year.
But Jarrell Miller represents a massive step and it needs to be given what is at stake. This is for the interim belt and I know some fans don’t value them but these are the things that put you in position as far as sanctioning bodies are concerned, where you can’t be ignored.”
This will be Wardley’s first fight since he demolished Frazer Clarke inside a round of their British heavyweight title rematch in Riyadh on October 12.
Miller, meanwhile, is without a win since March 2023 when the 333lb New Yorker stopped Lucas Brown in the sixth round of their Dubai contest. He has since been stopped by Daniel Dubois and drawn with Andy Ruiz but insists Wardley has bitten off more than he can chew here.
Warren said: “This is a big step for Fabio. This is it and we’ve got to see what he’s about.
“When you look at him you’ve got to remember he’s had no amateur experience, he’s come oft the white-collar circuit and it says a lot about him, what he’s done and what’s managed to achieve with that background.
“He’s a fighting man at heart and he loves it. He’s a great ambassador for boxing. He speaks well, he’s always very pleasant even though the stuff at the press conference was crap.
“He can fight too. He was in the Fight of the Year last year and then in the second one he left no doubt with maybe the Knockout of the Year. He does the business here and then we will know he is ready for that step to the world title."
Wardley's compatriot Daniel Dubois currently holds the IBF belt while Ring Magazine champion Oleksandr Usyk holds the WBO, WBA and WBC straps.

Any solid updates about this show, undercard, etc...? Any news on how well tickets are shifting? All attention has obviously been on Eubank v Benn but I'd like to hear a bit more about this one now, I was looking forward to it. Don't fancy committing to a ticket until the undercard is released, it's a long way to travel? Only about six weeks to go, seems sketchy at this point.

Frank said 15-17k (I think)have been sold and he was expecting a sell out.

Cheers. Any idea why the undercard hasn't been announced, or has it and I've missed it?
Wonder if they could shift this to the Usyk v Dubois card and allow the people who have bought tickets to exchange for Wembley or get refunded?

He’s probably putting it together. Will probably announce 3/4 undercard fights together like he usually does.

I wonder if Fabio can get it done faster than Dubois?
I think Fabs has more power, and given how leaky Miller's defense is, it's not going to be too hard to land flush.
Miller, bless him, took a lot of Dubois flush right hands before fatigue and an utter battering got him in the 10th.
I'm gonna say 7

Great take on things.
If he loses to Miller, at home in front of a Froch like audience then it's pretty much over.
A win, especially a conclusive KO win, means he's 'better' than Dubois.

Less than 5 weeks until 'fight week' and still no undercard announced.... is this show happening?
I want to book a short break around it but I'm not buying or sorting anything just yet, things seem sketchy.

It makes you wonder if they’re seeing what interest there is first before confirming the rest of the show.
When Ipswich got promoted to the premier league last season Wardley was on the bus with the players when they had the promotion party & judging by social media a lot of Ipswich fans didn’t seem to be impressed by him, saying he wasn’t a real Ipswich fan & that he was just jumping on a bandwagon.
It probably doesn’t help that they’ve had a terrible season too. I can’t imagine there’s the same kind of enthusiasm for a big boxing show at the football stadium like there would have been a year ago when the town was on a real high.

That's what I think too. There seemed to be plenty of empty seats at the Eubank v Benn fight and that had amazing marketing. I'm not sure the money is there for tens of thousands of people to turn out. Some PPVs will do okay, though, as people will stay in, get a pizza and pissed up at home (even that will set you back £100 all things considered). Wardley isn't PPV, though, so it will be in the balance whether it will stack up.
