In all seriousness, if there is anything left of The Gypsy King then he gets a few rounds in before stopping Mak as he pleases.
He IS a total scrub at the level Fury's been at..

I hope you're right. It'd be a lot more interesting if Fury was still operating at near his best level. Maybe not THIS specific fight, but the Heavyweight division as a whole would be better off with a better Fury.

fury has had hell in the past vs otter wallin and franny naganny. of course if hes on his game he should be levels above. we know that, at least as of a couple years ago, when he's motivated he's really good and can operate above this level. but hes at an age and potential dedication level this late on in his career that you defo cant rule out he gives one of his off performances, in which case mak is a danger man despite his limitations
its a good one to gauge how serious he is now, and any wildcards related to the stage he's at this late in his career. he's been a pro almost 20 years now hasnt he. he's had a lot of cuts and knockdowns and shots add up over that time. hes alaso coming off 2 losses (his last win was 2023, the struggle vs fran)
ya a top contender would be a better fight but this has some interesting angles too, i dont mind it

I thought they boxed in Florida.
Still was on Netflix in the UK.
Boxing in the UK then.
Location and streaming service are not the same thing. Your first statement was wrong, admit it.

No. Is the the first time the Netflix cameras and production team has been in the UK for boxing?

You could reword it to: Fury has brought Netflix's (likely third party) camera crew to a UK based boxing event.

Was Klitschko the last knockout artists that Fury was not dropped by? And before him?

I don't know. I know Fury was the last challenger to beat him, though. A monumental achievement his haters pick to pieces.

How can you call them knockout punchers if they couldn't knockout Tyson, who's crap?

Considering Fury thinks he's the #1 in the world with back to back wins over Usyk, he should be fighting someone better than the guy who's ranker #26 by BoxRec.

A few think Usyk is and he was lining up Wilder!

It was a good achievement, just not as good as the 3 previous opponents who all stopped him

You've been telling everyone on here for the last few years that Wilder is the greatest puncher in history. Not anymore?

Do we know if it's a 12 rounder yet?
If Fury has anything left, I'd expect a Fury UD.
I do have a feeling Fury gets chinned though, hope I'm wrong!

I'm not sure this version of Mak can win, but also not sure this version of Fury can avoid a hard fight. Good matchup.

Come on Mags, this is a way better opponent than we both expected.
It could even, as Skankie said, be a Buster moment. Depends how much big Mak wants it, and how far Fury has aged.

Sweet.
Me too. And I'm quite keen to watch it.
Just a slight problem as I don't have Netflix

Not a fight i will be too worried about if it gets cancelled , i won't give a shit , if it goes on , i suppose i'll tune in because its on Netflix and i will not have to pay for it , Over the whole FURY FAMILLY . Can't really see why he would want a tune up before Fabio anyway , after all given time to do the weight right is all he needs , bowling over a stiff is'nt going to get him any better , , TIMING , ECT ECT Can all be honed in the gym with quality sparring
