Stats are all you have, you rely solely on records with no understanding of anything else. A typical argument from you will be: fighter a beats fighter b, fighter b beats fighter c, fighter a must then beat fighter c. Works every time except when it is used against you, the you stay very quiet.

Those are your simplistic arguments not mine.. I've seen the actual fights and know what talent is.. I only use stats and facts to back up the science. You use myth and emotion and are devoid of any argument that makes sense.

I suspect you would surmise that robot's would beat people.....and fail to understand that "people" would figure a way to unplug the robot.

except you continually make comments which make it obvious that you haven't seen the fight in question.

for example, Iran Barkley looked like this before knocking Hearns out: :KO:

and yet you foolishly said he withstood Hearn's assaults with ease.

such a comment could allow only two alternatives, really:

(1) you commented on a fight you hadn't seen (bad), or
(2) you had actually watched the fight but have so little understanding that you missed Barkley's face getting ripped to bloody shreds and him getting cut in two- to his visible agony- by bodyshots.

so either you are a knave who pretends to be able to comment on fights he actually hasn't seen (bad), or a fool who doesn't understand what he is watching (worse)

There is a third.....someone with a fair amount of knowledge...maybe even a lot of knowledge. And very very very opinionated.

Sounds like a trainer to me.

BuzzBox, sometimes you say idiotic things.. You love putting thoughts and words in my mouth... The Terminator is a fictional character... Humans are not even capable of creating self-actuated and self-starting mosquitos -- much less any that are capable of reproducing... so they’ll never create “androids” or races of robots that will compete with the human race.

Now could a computer programmed by a human beat any human in chess???? ... Yes of course, we could create one... Because a computer can scan threw many trillions of possible outcomes that could stem from any move and come up with the best possible move a lot faster than a human could.

Barkley withstood Hearns' offensive output and came back at him.. Maybe "with ease" was a slight exaggeration which I suppose you've never done.. Barkley was cut, but he wasn't ripped to shreds.. He wasn't staggered or knocked down.. He wasn't in danger of the fight being stopped.. In a couple of rounds Barkley's corner would have had the cuts under control.. Barkley was starting to get the range... and when that happened he knocked the China-chinned Hearns TFO!!! ... Don't worry...Barkley also beat Hearns in their rematch -- by decision.

And who did Barkley NOT beat??? ... Many, MANY fighters kicked his ass.

I just saw some of the great Carlos Monzon fights with Tom Bogs, Graien Tonna and Denny Moyer. It was like unfair to middleweights fighting this guy. He dictates the pace of the fight. Not the other way around. Plus, he had that murderous crushing right hand that at times, I felt sorry for those guys. King Carlos was a nightmare to fight. He might seem easy to beat on tv, but, when you go to the ring to meet with him, it's a different story. One of the few fighters that can break you psychologically as well as physically. American audiences missed much of this true all time great. He is indeed the best middleweight ever.
