Sweet fight. Haye used exactly the right tatics in rounds 1 & 3 but kept backing up to the ropes without jabbing & letting Mormeck inside.

Great result but Haye could have made it easier but it would have been less dramatic.

It was truly heartbreaking having to walk through the sea of sad French faces on the way out of the Arena.

Now to the after party until it's time for Cotto v Mosley at the Sports Bar.

Think people here are being a little harsh on Enzo - its a tough situation, Haye is the naturally bigger man... and fair play, he did say if the money is right he would fight at Heavy. Maybe an offer will be made at Cruiser that Haye couldn't turn down.
Why harsh? He's using Haye's publicity to make his own name. I respect Enzo, I like wathcing him fight ALOT, but look at the guys he's fighting and listen to the things he says. He wasn't prepared to work his way to being Mormeck's mandatory, but he's denigrating both fighters. He's too close to the subject & can mislead viewers, IMO
Sorry, I meant when Haye said it was his last fight at Cruiser - there was a few posters here saying stuff like "now, look at Setanta claiming Haye is ducking Enzo" - sorry, I didn't hear that.

I personally think it is Phil Jones and Steve Bunce who are drumming up Enzo, using Haye to drum up Enzo, more so than the man himself. Enzo isn't exactly going to say - "well Haye/Mormeck look the best out there, I don't stand a chance" is he. Had the roles been reversed - then I am sure Haye wouldn't do it. Enzo never said that he believed he should be ranked #1, all he said that both him, Cunningham (and he mentioned Cunnigham a few times) and now Haye - feel they are the best - lets sort it out. Thats an understandable position, but so is Haye's. By thinking he will beat them, isn't slagging them off IMO.

Yes, he is maybe a little too close to the situation - but then had he not been there - I'm sure there would have been posters going "well, why didn't Setanta use Mac".
