....in' amen to that you've hit the nail on the head!
Kahn is going backwards IMHO.
I can't wait till Khan steps through the ropes with a credible opponent
I've always wanted a fast flash motor

disagree with spud about khan fighting to a plan. no way. he wanted to bomb the guy out from the off. couldnt do it. started to gas and had a comparitively poor 4th. from the 5th it looks like he is being patient and waiting for ops but he should have started the fight like that. quick in and out. stamp your authority on the man. let him feel your power without trying to knock his arse out with every flurry. if he does that and gradually steps it up, by 4 or 5 the guy has had enough and can be taken out.
he must learn to use his advantages of speed and power more patiently and effectively.
not very intelligent fight by amir in my humble.

There was at least 3 punches by Khan whilst Kristjansen was down the first time, that's a real bullshit move.I didn't like his excuse of 'It's just boxing', that's a wrong thing to do and he should've apologised.
Pretty good performance from Khan once again but I've still got big question marks over his defence, leaving that left hand so low and wide is just asking for trouble. He was a bit over eager when trying to finish the Dane off.

All very predictable really eh?
Only thing that surprised was that Rawlings was even worse than McKenzie
What Shyte is Rawlings

.. another Buncey me thinks .. sent to the dark place till people forget .. maybe another minor satelite station will save c-Rawlings also? .. the guy is 2nd best to useless
Basically showed what we already knew (except for 1 person here that is

) .. Khan ain`t no puncher .. neither was his opponent

.. Khan is good to get the right hands on .. and he`s good to overwhelm the guy when he gets him going...
Blatant late punches .. funny how the replay showed it in the interview .. and only highlighted it
FWank knows Trash-Khan ain`t ready for the top guys .. me thinks Thaxton gets a call next .. a much publisized call

..they`ll be thinking such a bad cut Jon will never take it .. perfect excuse

.. lets see if I`m wrong
Overall rating 7/10

I like the name Trash Khan.
But I still think Amir Khan(T) is best.
Amir is yet to convince me of anything.
I agree - Thaxton 'might' get the call but for £50K less.

Yep, you watch.... Thaxton will get the gig now, for short money..... and Romanov will be steered well clear of.
Wonder what will happen if the WBO mandate Khan - Peterson? Would either parties management take it at the moment??

it seemed to me that the 2 were different weight classes, Khan looked bigger than the Dane. Is it true that the Dane hadn't fought for 17 months?, and he was ready!!
Khan is a good fighter but he is being fed stiffs, is the promotor frightened he will be beat if the opposition is stepped up before a world title shot?
And why in Uk do we always go the WBO route, what is wrong with the WBC, WBA IBF?
Im sure Khan will win the Title but he better watch out for the big hitters.
I think Khan went in there for the quick finish, for another impressive stoppage, they look good on paper, but when you cant stop a fighter and start to run out of steam you will be caught eventually.
cant wait until Khan faces someone who has a decent record and a high pertentage of KO's.

Amir Khan(T) ....? maybe a compromise? .. how about spelt with a `U`
He has talent - no doubt .. sadly thats never enough :(
His chin(or lack of) is as big a worry for his team as it is for us fans it seems .. hence the reluctance to match him with a decent hitter
There seems to be another question mark posed each time, his chin is the most obvious .. his lack of real dig is another .. his openess to right hands .. his obvious dislike of taking a shot, he backs off straight away and looks to ref .. and last night I`m thinking he`s got the attitude he can get away with anything he likes on his show - the blatant late blows .. remember Moore v Jones? .. imagine??
I`m thinking they`ll make a well publisized offer to Jon .. fully expecting that his cuts won`t heal in time, or heal in time to spar seriously anyway..
Fwanks boy Block will prob do what he does

.. hey presto Trash-Khan( or Amir Khunt

) is mandatory - Jon stripped .. and a match for the British lightweight title is made against the heavy handed, vastly experienced former champion Chris Edwards .. and Rawlings tells the TV viewers Khan is probably having his stiffest test to date .. and for once he`d be telling the truth

Boxing news did mention that purse bids for a Khan-Thaxton fight for the commonwealth belt (I think) are due very soon.

they'd better hurry up with getting him a world title as he will soon be tight at lightweight. he looked a true l/welter last night
