Re: Betting thread
Murray still 6s to beat Martinez. That is massively overpriced imo and I can only see the odds shortening as the fight gets closer. It's not quite a 50/50 fight but it's huge value and Martin may be catching Martinez at the right time. I'm on it.
Re: Betting thread
I had a bad feeling about it most of the day mate especially when Root/Bell and Bell/Prior held in for so long. That's the way it goes sometimes. The Insider wrote:That was rotten luck mate. I'd have never have thought england capable of the draw. Heroic effort from Prior etc though.Deno1986 wrote:Starting to worry a bit. Bell and Root are looking sturdy at the moment. Hoping the new ball will change things up a bit.Deno1986 wrote:Just stuck €140 on NZ to beat England at 4/7. Surely they will be declaring today and will have a good day and a bit to try bowl England out.

6/1 is a fair price, it gives Murray just under a 15% chance of winning which in all honesty I think is about right. The Insider wrote:Murray still 6s to beat Martinez. Good luck.
Might even stick a bit on the Murray stoppage. Martinez can be put down and Murray has that nasty streak and is pretty ruthless if he can get SM going. Hopefully he learnt is lesson in the Sturm fight and will push harder if he can get to Martinez. Martinez has also admitted MW is not his best/natural weight and hes only there for bigger paydays and Murray is a monster at MW, how he makes it I don't know. It does look like a long shot but taking everything into account I still think it's closer than the bookies reckon.

Got to love a couple of late goals saving a bet!freddydoesdallas wrote:No worries bud, i've used many of yours before. They're still quite a low price to now beat macedonia at home 1/4. Probably not worth lumping on a single but i've stuck them in again with Holland (30/100 to beat Romania), Serbia (8/15 to beat Scotland) and i'm also considering adding Croatia in @ 8/13 to beat Wales. not sure how much i trust Serbia to be in 2 bets thoughDeno1986 wrote:Thanks for this tip by the way Freddy. Not sure if they've got the depth in the squad but a decent run of luck and they can cause some shocks.
8/13 away to Macedonia is pretty daft
Cricket is looking good for you

Newport 'away' to Gateshead currently in-running at 11/10 looks tasty. The game is being held 150 miles from Gateshead who are struggling a bit and Newport are pushing for promotion

Never looked yet but Chilemba has got to be worth a few quid against a fighter who imo is only slightly above British level.dirketo wrote:Tony Bellew vs Isaac Chilemba +10.5 - 1.60€

Yep big change in the odds there in a few hours.
I covered my bet with Chilemba 7-9 (18/1) and 9-12 (20/1)

Thanks mate. More or less paid for the Summer holiday.
Had a few bets on The Augusta Masters:
Phil Mickelson @ 11/1 win
Keegan Bradley @ 30/1 e/w
Bubba Watson @ 40/1 e/w
Jim Furyk @ 80/1 e/w
Certain Irish bookies are paying 6 places.

Re: Betting thread
Mumbai to win today in the IPL and Chennai to win tomorrow. The double pays 1.77 which I think is about 7/4. I think they should both win. Good Luck if you fancy it.

Fury to stop Cunningham odds have not yet been released but I fancy Tyson to do the business.
I know I've been banging the drum about Martin Murray to beat Martinez and at 6s I'm still confident. Small outlay big yield. I might go Murray stoppage too.

Re: Betting thread
Despite the odds, anyone betting Audley is going to lose their money. You're better off lumping it on Wilder to win in the first round.
Re: Betting thread
Couldnt see Murray winning in St Helens, let alone Argentina but would love to be proved wrong, the last round against Sturm worried me as it was the only time Sturm stepped up a level and Murray looked hurt. ...The Insider wrote:Hass is great value at 80/1 too.Deno1986 wrote:Thanks mate. Re: Betting thread
Hass has never finished in the top 10 of a major I'd be wanting more than any 80/1 on him, Jim Furyk at the same price has a better chance.
