He’s not my hero. Have you a link to the contract so I can read it?

If Fury v Ngannou is main event, then it's not likely to be anything decent is it.

A guess would be one or two other YouTube type 'events' .. with a bit of John Fury ripping his top off to get his tits out to shout at someone for attention.
Who? Looks like Tommy v KSI is in October plus he should get a few million more for his wedding, nothing to shout about, really.
Aside from the Paul brothers, I don't know who has any sort following on social media to put together a celebrity boxing type event.

Of course I've heard of Tommy Fury, but assumed he was nothing without the Paul connection .. as for KSI .. I know the name but no idea what he looks like.

But considering they have a main event with Ngannou who isn't very well known - I'm sure the undercard could be a bunch of pound-shop social media stars like Decca Heggie/Paul Venis/Danny Christie/Dougie Joyce/etc ..

Well why comment then? There is literally no chance of any of those named appearing on it. I'm amazed you follow such a bunch...
As for the Pauls being the only ones capable... Tommy v Ksi will sell out ANYWHERE in The UK and do incredible numbers. Jake Paul v Diaz is struggling at the gate.

KSI will sell out anywere in the UK as he has done previously. The guy had tens of millions following him before he ever set foot in a boxing ring. Fumbles on the other hand is small fry and was fortunate Paul gave him chance after chance to make a name for himself outside of love island viewers

No. I just think it’s bizarre to say he’s small fry anywhere. His engagement was pretty much constant on social media all yesterday.

yea look kinda agree there. got 5 million followers on insta. thats pretty big deal in any language. and sure he only got them cause his brothers tyson, or cause love island, or cause he fought jake paul.... but thats as good a way to gain a following as most young non elite athletes (which is what tommy fury is).

anyway, back to the topic at hand: Tyson Fury versus Guy Who Isn't Usyk or even a professional boxer (but Tyson is historically, and on record, interested in the contents of his underpants)

What i wrote wasn`t a prediction.

I wrote could be a bunch of pound-shop social media stars like Decca Heggie/Paul Venis/Danny Christie/Dougie Joyce/etc .. ..

Which by using the word COULD and LIKE it clearly does not predict or assume with certainty. Merely offers a possibility it will be some low level social media wannabee type opponents :TU:

He's not your hero? Is idol a better word? You don't need a contract to know there's a rematch clause, but because it's your boy, Luke, you will pretend you do.

Imho rematches should not happen unless someone (the favorite) lost, or a fight was so competitive it warranted a rematch. But I don't think there should be rematch clauses in contracts at all. I think if the favorite loses there should be a 30-90 day window where no other fights can be offered to the winner or loser, that they are locked into negotiations. If nothing is secured in those 30-90 days then the public, obviously, will have their say.

That being said, I can see why there is one in this novelty fight because the risk is so extremely low that if Fury lost it would be the greatest upset in boxing history. It'd need avenged ASAP. Then again, because of the nature of the fight being such an oddity one has to worry that perhaps Fury is such a good boxer that he'd let Ngannou hang for the whole ten and set up a rematch just to knock him out in 1-3 rounds in the next go. So to my mind there should be no rematch. It needs to be a "one and done" ordeal.

Should'nt be a rematch , because there should'nt be a fight full stop .. Unbeaten world champ v a novice boxer , who and how the hell sanctions this shite ,,, I know I know Ali fought that japanese guy in a novelty fight , but at least he was allowed to kick thats why he sat on his arse and followed Ali around the ring kicking him , but this one makes no sence , anyhow he had his novelty fight against Chisora , he should be allowed nothing EXCEPT a defense now
