Be rude not to have a flutter on Wigan. Backed them outright at 8/1 and Arsenal Ht/Wigan FT at 66/1

Thinking of having a double on devon alexander to win in 4-6 rounds and lucas mattysee to win by ko/tko

£25 pays £200

I'm on Peterson at 3-1 to win. I think those odds are too big for a fight that I think is 50/50.

Those are great odds. I would say Peterson is favourite, because his better technically.

Peterson v Matthysse is an interesting one. Peterson can take a whack and will need too if he's to win IMO as Matthysee can certainly bang. He put his opponents down in his only 2 losses too. It's not beyond Lamont but if he uses his craftyness and fights a clever fight frustrating Lucas he could just do it in points. Having said that I think Peterson could be there for the taking and I'll be backing Matthysse by stoppage @ evens.

Prize fighter is wide open for me. I think the winner will be the winner of the first fight between Dawson and McIntosh. I always like to bet in play on the prizefighters and there is usually a few quid to be made. McIntosh looks good odds at 5/1 though so I'll be taking that for a start.

Lucas Matthysse @ 11/10 to stop Petereson is probably the bet of the year so far for me. It's been a while since I've gone in large but I'm lumping on this one.

Michael Grant to upset Carlos Takam. Not that I'd bet on it, but there is a fair chance :)

I am tempted by this but it worries me how many times Peterson gets up after being knocked down and fights the distance, seems to have good powers of recovery

The thing is when Matthysse cracks them not many get back up. I know Pererson has been able to take a few counts and carry on but I see this as a completely different scenario.

Yeah it's a tough one, I'm not sure 11/10 represents great value but it was my first idea of a bet also, just gone off it the last few days. Good luck if you get on, I'm gonna give it a miss.

I'm liking the 11/4 on a Froch stoppage win, something in the back of mind is telling me that Kessler isn't the same fighter and he's there for taking but just going in small on this as I could be completely wrong.

Also waiting for a market on the exact MOV, will have a few quid on a Kessler retirement.

Pretty much how I see it. Hopefully Froch will see where he went wrong last time and lay it on Kessler who is definitely on the slide.

Bellew on points is also worth a little look at 6/4.

Good call by those of you that went Matthysse. I actually fancy chilemba at 2.75 to win, he seemed to have figured out Bellew in the second half of the fight and I make it a 50/50 contest.

The value is certainly with Chilemba, Bellew has regressed since his performance against Cleverly.

I backed Chilemba first time around and was pretty disappointed I didn't get paid out I'm not so sure I could handle not picking up again if the fight is close and he doesn't get the nod, so I think I'll leave it alone.

I think the fight will go the distance that's all I would bet on!

Froch v Kessler

I like Kessler by KO here (11/2 @ Skybet). Personally, I don't think Froch knows how to clinch and on the few occasions he has been hurt he fires back when he should tuck up and spoil. I'll probably split my stakes 70/30 with Kessler to win outright (2/1 various) and the KO.

Bellew v Chilemba

I think Chilemba had figured Bellew out by the end of the first fight, I expect him to pick up where he left off and take this on points. (3/1 @ Stans/ Betvictor)

All in all I predict a bad night for Matchroom...

Surely that's all of us as us gamblers never lose :TU:

For the record, i can't see past Froch and will be looking to invest the wife's birthday fund in this. Also fancy the stoppage at 5/2.

My money has gone on Froch by KO and Froch by KO 9-12

The guy who is fighting George Groves is interesting me, his record and a few youtube clips are alot better than the 12/1 on offer about him suggests. Definitely the value play.

So that completes my anti-Matchroom hattrick this weekend!

Had a double on Froch outright and Chilemba points, came out about 5/1
