Warren not sounding confident at all on the radio today:
We're still none the wiser. You need the agreement of both boxers to make it happen and at the moment we haven't got that. I have a pot and can only pay what's in it. If it's not enough money, then it won't happen.
It's not going to happen, could we be looking at Dubois or Andy Ruiz, or will they cancel Joyce's fight and throw him in with Fury?
Fury won't fight Joyce, no chance, zero.

Jordan missed the two obvious angles to pursue.
1. Do you know why the Saudis did not buy the fight given their current unquenchable thirst for big fights. Were they not willing to beat the Wembley Revenue??
2. Don’t kid us there’s not a Plan B for an alternative opponent given that the fight date is only 7 weeks away?? Or is it no Usyk no fight ??

If only Fury believed in himself as much as his rabid fans believe in him.

Fury is essentially doing a Larry Holmes, who dumped his WBC to avoid the best while picking soft touches

Fury has also done absolutely nothing to build interest in this fight; it's all come from Uysk. I think this will go down as one of the biggest ducks in boxing history.
A big swerve like this will ruin Fury's reputation. Even the casuals are begining to question his courage.
If the belts and legacy don't mean anything to him, he should give up the WBC belt. It should have become vacant when he 'retired'.

Agreed. In fact, Jordan has hardly touched on this fight in recent weeks, yet is very tough on others.
Re: Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk - 29 April 2023? - It's going to hurt some people this video.

He's right up Warren's arse, absolutely coats Hearn and his fighters, I quite liked him at first but now I find him a condescending know it all who actually knows fcuk all.

Don't Fwank's interviews come with conditions?

Quite possibly but as a serious journalist/interviewer he should be impartial, he clearly isn't.

I'm amazed you don't think everyone does sometimes. You must feel let down a lot.
He must be really be losing public opinion if even you are not hanging on his every word!
Obviously I am just pulling your leg Mickey, but don't even you roll your eyes when he comes out with certain stuff and then does the opposite?
I never have. I have probably been a lot more realistic than most with my expectations. I am pretty confident he would fight anyone. I would also imagine he is a nightmare to deal with. That will obviously cause problems when trying to arrange a fight. Most on here believe he wont box because he's terrified, i don't believe that for one second.

I agree with you on this. I’ve never understood people thinking he’s scared to fight Usyk. He fought Klitschko in Germany and Wilder in the US 6 months after coming back from obesity. I genuinely don’t think he’d be scared of anyone.
It is coming across more and more though that he must be a nightmare to do financial deals with. This shouldn’t have been a difficult one to put together given Usyk is essentially a free agent and not tied to a network.

If it was Usyk playing silly buggers then Frank would be quick to say, the fact that he doesn't speaks volumes, Fury is at it, hopefully public pressure will make him cave

If the numbers that AJ got in Saudi for Usyk are correct then I really could see Fury wanting more. As Fwank said, if it isn't there, it isn't there.

I agree. Although I suspect he will in retirement, by which time it will be too late to get back in the ring and improve his legacy.

Then why box Chisora for a third time. I bet Fury got paid less for that fight than waiting to December 17th or February, to face Uysk.

I always saw the Del fight as a keep busy fight. Almost part of the training camp for Usyk.
