This would be a serious card. 4 London fights in big fights. 2 world title fights. Would top the Mag 7
DeGale is boxing Paul Smith on 11/12/2010

Where have you heard this? it would be the best possible fight for bomber and a very good chance to show he is next to step up after Cleverly.

Bellew said in BN that McIntosh turned the fight down after talking trash.

yeh its true mcintosh is a bad 5hit house, he has said he wants to fight bellew in bn but when he got officially offered the fight he turned it down! he said he doesnt think the money was right even tho it would be in his top 2 biggest pay days plus the chance to win belts, fight infront of 10,000+ and be live on t.v.
bellew openly said he is willing to have a winner takes all, but then mcintosh said he has other options,
grow a set mcintosh! if you dont want to fight bellew thats fine, but to trash talk him then get offered the fight and turn it down, well thats embarrassing

Well said rigthhook. Too much trash talking going on now without any action. Smigga took the fight against Degale even though he had many other options. Its a fight the fans would want to see and would make for an amazing atmosphere in Liverpool as well.
Come on Mac sign up will ya.

First off we have no clue what the offer is. It may not be that high and it may have options.
Secondly the fight will go to purse bids soon enough. So McIntosh will get 40% of the purse guaranteed, and he may not have to fight in Bellews back yard.
Crediting Smith for taking a fight against someone with 8 fights.....in his home town....and its his highest payday. I give him credit for taking it, but you would need to give McIntosh far more for fighting Bellew in Liverpool.

How much has he been offered and were there options?
Would both the British and Commonwealth titles be on the line?

Is winner takes all even allowed?

I hate when boxers say 'winner takes all!' to possible opponents. The only reason why they say it is cause they know the opponent won't agree to it, and rightly so.

first off mate you mightnt know what was offered. doesnt mean others dont. i assure you that danny got offered a very good pay day. danny has actually said and i quote "why should i take less than bellew" hahahahaha
what bellew gets paid by his own promoter has nothing to do with mcintosh. if he wants to be paid big money then maybe he should get a better promoter or maybe win a fight with bellew then he will be in a better position to bargain.
second, if it does go to purse bids then fair enough but my point is why say you want to fight bellew then when you get offered the fight you turn it down. dont call some1 out and make out like you want to fight him bad then hold out for a purse bid. there is no gaurantee it will go to a purse bid and bellew might fight another person.
i have no problem with fighters wanting to be well paid, but lets be real here danny mcintosh would have gotten a good payday, tv exposure, a sell out crowed, and more important than that the chance to win a belt or two. my guess is his next fight he will get less then half of what he has been offered against bellew plus no belt on the line and infront of a few houndred people and no live t.v but thats just my oppinion.

to horse.
a winner takes all would not be allowed but you can get things put in contracts where if the fighter win e.g. mcintosh they get a big bonus, also you could have both promoters have a bet with each other who would win
i know for an absolute fact bellew realy wants this fight, and i also know that danny mcintosh is looking for excuses.
the second mcintosh trash talked bellew in bn bellew said straight away make the fight, he didnt start saying well lets go to purse bids and see what happens. its a shame danny mcintosh didnt back up what he said

Would Bellew get paid more if it went to purse bids?
If McIntosh thinks he can get more if it goes to purse bids then can anyone really hold it against him if he wants to wait for that?

Maybe, but the sport of boxing wouldn't as that wouldn't be that many fighters! How long would you carry on if you weren't getting any paydays? Even if a boxer lost 1 fight could he support his family, pay his trainer etc.?
Sure the millionaire boxers would be alright.....99% of the other fighters wouldn't.
Boxers need to be paid, win or lose

looking poor isn't it.
apart from smith-degale.
why can't brook and jennings have a rematch.
unsatisfactory ending first time round.
do it again.
i understand the issues with cleverly.
so don't begrudge a slightly average one if it gives cleverly the interim title.
is ryan rhodes getting the the guy that beat matt hall?

it would depend on how much the purse bid went for mate.
i wouldnt hold anything against danny mc for trying to get more money from a purse bid but there is absolute no gaurantee it will happen, bellew could fight some1 else,
i think its a bit of a joke to be honest why call him out in the first place??? all that trash talk and no action to back his words up. its not like danny would have been fighting for buttons he would have been well paid and had a belt or two up for gvrabs not to mention live tv, he has had something like 2 fights in 2 years you would think he would jump at the shot instead of waiting round for many more months on the chance the fight goes to a purse bid

I can imagine the Degale fight being blown out of all propotion and being billed as the big fight of the evening now. It's obvious that there will be more fights announced and I can see at least 1 more meaningful title fight on there. Sosnowski would be good and maybe there will be the return of Kevin Mitchell and feature Paul Appleby, Stephen Smith and what's happened to Billy Joe Saunders?
What about Sexton having another crack at a heavyweight title if Chisora vacates?
yeah i give warren a free pass on the braehmer fight.
not to be this time round sadly.
kevin mitchell vs alex arthur would be nice. :)

yeh i understand the cleverly fight, but i was really excited when fw first mentioned a show that was going to be bigger than the mag7 but up to know it hasnt really lived up to the hype. not to say it wont but up2 now im not over impressed, if bellew v mcintosh would have been on the bill that would have really helped the bill but hopefully a few big fights get announced

I think Frank needs to pull some thing out of the bag, especially as not much thought has gone into Cleverly's and Macklins opponents. Both come from Tundra promotions based in Spain. So their not even hand picked. I believe Kevin Mitchell's opponent before Katsidis come from the same company as well so Frank obviously has some kind of deal with them.

good question mate!
tickets are on sale but there are only a few opponents we know about.
i hope they hurry up and let people know whose fighting, cant see why its took this long to come up with opponents when they have known about this show for weeks and weeks

well what was he offered then, I am all ears. McIntosh should be getting 50% He is going to Bellew's back yard, he is mandatory for the British title. Is Bellew that much of a bigger name, I don't really think so. Is Bellew that much of a bigger ticket seller???
whats your thought on David Haye and George Groves???

I agree, I'm really suprised at the fact that the rematch wasn't made straight away - Jennings was well in the fight- in fact he was just getting going I thought and had caught Brook out a couple of times with neat counters.
