Callum Johnson the Scot who just got to the final put him out - he was too good for our boy and fully deserved his win - think he wins the gold to be honest

Some good fights - the schedule above has been accurate so far so should be good

Ones to watch

Light-Welter division has a guy called Valentino Knowles from Bahamas he is an unknown and won his quarter final 28-2 but opposition was poor because he looked like Rigondeaux in there (well almost) he surely cant be that good can he with no one ever having heard of him, notice the Aussies bookies have him the outsider so it must have been just a very poor opponent he fought and he faces the indian favourite in his semi so there you go but looking forward to seeing him just to see if he really had what it seemed like he had.

Same division Bradley Saunders has a winnable fight against the Mauritian, despite what the Aussie bookies again think as they favour the other guy.,

Middleweight sees Anthony Ogogo against the Indian pin up boy Singh, think Anthony has a chance there with fair scoring but its a toughie.

Eamonn O'Kane faces Kieran Harding in the other semi - all home country affair and would edge O'Kane here.

Heavyweight sees Simon Vaillily (must win gold) faces a Ghanaian who is powerful but can be hurt

The other semi sees Steve Simmons against Steven Ward another all home country affair and a close fight this one

Flyweight has the Indian boy Suranjoy Mayengbam Singh up against Haroon Khan and I think the Indian lad is too good and wins gold - other semi is a close fight.

Super Heavy is a poor division the winner of the Tongan and Indian should win gold the other two are not that good

Great round up Globalbox - nice work :TU:

Stalker looked good, especially in the last. The Scottish kid he's facing in the final looked really impressive too. Am a fan of Stalker, but see this as a 50/50.

Callum Smith looked good and should have had a healthy margin going into the last. Low and behold, the scoring benefits the lad who's getting beat, and in the end he nearly got back into it. Great left hook by Smith to claim the win. I think he beats the stocky Irish kid.

What happened to Weaver?

He lost 11-6 to an indian - scoring was iffy I thought Weaver deserved it to be honest, the indian has gone out since to the Mauritian and then the Mauritian was beat today by the Welsh kid

Anyone know which club Johnson boxes for?

I think the commentator yesterday said he was from England and qualified via a Scottish grand father - at least I think it was Johnson they were talking about...

Great to see all the home nation boxers doing so well :TU:

Who was that Indian guy fighting at light heavyweight, who sparked his opponent. He looked a viscious bugger, not sure how old he was, but he looked like he'd make a good pro.

Was impressed with agogo.

9-3 to the Indian.

9-3 Khan lost but he performed much better than that - showed some good skills was just over run early door and went 5 points down - he scored a few that were not given as well - did well

JBacca if you are able to continue with the updates I will crack a beer and relax and watch it - would be much obliged
