Oh they are loving it on the current scene! Apparently Abraham has gone from being a sure fire knockout winner over Froch to being complete shite and was never any good to start with!

Also, apparently Froch gets beat by Ward and Bute for certain...complete fvcking retards.

Froch boxed the fight of his life absolutely superb.

I don't want to hear any of this rubbish saying AA was rubbish and was shot. The majority knew and preached how dangerous he was beforehand. Froch MADE AA look bad. Stuck to the jab, kept just out of range from AA's right hand and kept his cool throughout. He fought the perfect fight, it wasn't so exciting but let's remember how dangerous people said AA was beforehand and not take away from Froch's victory. AA has always been a slow starter as we know and couldn't get going because Froch never let him get going.

Would be interested to know how many jabs Froch threw in comparison to his fights with Pascal and Kessler.

just hope any rematch is again on neutral ground with US ref and judges. Can well see the germans wanting it in germany with Tilleman.

Froch was great; Abraham was poor. Abraham was so bad it was almost inexplicable but then again, Froch just stood him on his head. Super footwork.

AA's done at this level. Not the same fighter he was 2-3 years ago, and that beating tonight will knock the rest of the stuffing out of him.

Good name for Froch but AA offered virtually nothing over 12 rounds there.

Did Abraham ever fight anyone at MW who had a good jab. I just cant belive how bad he has looked in his last 2 fights

AA was just poor, but this is how he always performs. Guard up and waiting to throw the power combos but failed !!!

Froch just done an interview with German Tv - Saying that AA is a strong proud man, but is limited in what he could do & extremely predictable, he went on to say that AA was just not good enough & that Kessler was lucky to beat him in Denmark, that the belt was back where it belonged.

Spot on imo

I wouldn't be surprised if AA pulls out of Super 6 after this. He would not want to get in the ring with Froch again, and I doubt many would want to see it.

Yeah can't see how it was an anti-climax. After the first round you could see Froch had the game plan and it was intriguing to see if he could pull it off.

Yup sounds about right! That's the current scene for ya! Fighter wins, the oppponent was never any good anyway/old/shot. Fighter loses: he was a bum all along. I mean one guy thinks Martinez is another Baldomir! Nuff said.

Great game plan though ? seriously?? a blind man could have told you how to beat the plodding, high-guarded Abraham.

I doubted if Froch could have carried it through though ... but chuffed he did.

Lets hope this enables him to get the big broadcasters interested in his next fights...

Absolutely, when is the semi-final scheduled for?

When a 'world class' performer puts in an effort like that questions have to be asked. Cant just be about giving Froch props. Arthur didnt even try.

Yeah - very true.... its very difficult to praise Froch, but not just wonder what the hell happened to Abraham.

The fact that Abraham will be 0-2 now and his next fight is a world title fight with a fighter he just lost a shut out to. This is kind of what is wrong with the super six. Who really wants to see that fight immediately. It wasn't a great contest, and you cannot make a case for Abraham.

Some big clangers from the Primetime team after fight. Mikkel Kessler was the warm favourite at the start of the tournament, most thought Ward was too umproven to be among the favourite. Now Andy Kerr is suggesting "we all knew it would be Froch and Ward".

Hopefully the Showtime lot make up some new bogus rule so the Semis will be Froch-Johnson and Ward-AA.

He did try, he just had no answer. He made less and less of an effort as the fight went on, but that was to the credit of Froch.

What Froch did was keep Abraham honest. It's all well and good jabbing and moving, but I don't think that alone would work against Abraham. What Froch did was jab stiffly and land heavily. He definitely hurt Abraham a couple of times to the body and he snapped Abraham's head back many, many times with jabs. What he was doing was landing heavy enough to keep Abraham honest, and stopping him from just walking down his opponent.

It was a brilliant display and Abraham simply didn't have any answers.

What this told us is that Abraham is one-dimensional. He's very, very good at what he does, but Froch had the antidote and Abraham didn't have it in him to make any adjustments.

And Froch was obviously hitting deceptively hard, because Abraham really did look forlorn from around the eighth.

Agreed, every time he tried to close the range Froch would step to the side and hit him with powershots, or fire off shots as soon as he saw AA step in.

Nothing much AA can do, just not big enough, quick enough or skillfull enough to put the fight on his terms.
