Thread and a half, this one. :OhYes:

I don't dislike the po-po in general, they're still people, not my kind of people, but people nonetheless. You're always going to get a fair amount of closeted nazi types flocking towards roles of authority, whether it be army, police or security. I'd like to think the good outweigh the bad by a decent margin (as has been mentioned), either way, it's not as though civility would or could survive without them (again, mentioned already).

A legislator or lawyer on the other hand... I'd forgive all but the very worst kind of ex-con.

As for illicit drugs, legalisation and all that malarky, why not? At least as far as cannabis is concerned. There's far too much bullshit propoganda and numpty logic at work where that plant's concerned. It's a shameful state of affairs when the US could arguably be considered more liberal in it's legislation than us.

The majority of ills associated with it are simply scapegoated because it's a soft target.

I am going to apologise for calling you both 'melts' actually - the term 'melt' where I am from means someone who is a bit thick, a bit slow, it may mean something different in London where Hurlock is from - he certainly didn't teach me this term though. I don't know either of you, you both come across as intelligent guys, so again, I apologise - and let's hope you put an end to this bating of Howard Daley - it is both showing you up in a bad light.

As for your 'hardman' fetish - you both seem to know a lot about violent celebrated criminals and bring them up on here - a boxing forum. Is it a fetish? I don't know - who cares!
Thanks for the apology as far as being a 'melt'.

Could you point out the post that gave you the impression that I was baiting Howard Daley please? The one (or more) that shows me in a bad light; cheers.

(Also Carlos; I asked some questions about an ex boxer (Billy Williams) as I'd read that he was around my fathers age and still fighting; if I've given you the impression I know lots about notorious hard men; again please let me know where).

I've seen Teddy today and he says he would do just that.

Teddy is not 'The Truth'.
There was no need for it, which of course encouraged 'Teddy's Toupee' to tell us what he would do if he saw Howard, fuelling the flames of a thread that had gone unsavoury very quickly. :TU:

A lot of the time I was just nice enough to people for them not to want to fall out with me. I pride myself on my personal safety skills and taught others coppers for 5 years before I left. Cops are like anyone, there is a small percentage that give the rest a bad name, those are the only ones that you usually see because the decent ones are the ones that will prevent a situation happening rather than revel in dealing with the aftermath. I never used my baton or gas in anger in 8 years and can count on one hand the number of people I punched (trust me with 2years on the riot squad that is an achievement). I never had one complaint about my use of force. So anyone who reckons all cops are pricks can come and knock on my door and tell me that to my face, I would have been the one who helped your gran cross the road or stopped your little sister getting beat by her dick head boyfriend :TU:
Does that include all the real men you lost to in the ring as opposed to the 7 stone junkies, drunks and kids you and your ever so brave colleagues usually like to throw their weight around with? The police are bullies, and like all bullies they are cowards.
Ooooh - thats a bit uncalled for - what about a 'real man' like you going in and showing him how it is done?

I wasn't baiting Howard Daley; I was replying to your post (above in red) and stating a fact; and I'm not sure if it were my subsequent reply or your 'real man' comment that was the more insulting and inflammatory. It was you; Carlos; that invited Teddy to show Howard, no one else and I'm not sure there were any need for that.

I appreciate that this thread (and the 'Wouldya' thread) got unpleasant; there's been mud thrown around and there've been generalisations and suppositions made. If that's the post that's put me in a bad light then I hold my hands up to it. (I'm not sure this has been your finest hour either Carlos).

Another one is the case of Jamie Bulger, explain to me how them kids are walking the streets an one of them has been convicted recently of having images of children on his computer!! Them 2 should be in solitary confinement for the rest of there lives no questions asked, personally I think the 2 of them should have been stoned to death by Mrs Denise Bulger..

Rant over for me ;)
I did a some wiring work at Clay Cross secure unit, near Chesterfield were on of the Bulger killers was housed for a few years.

He looked absolutely nothing like the photo you saw in the papers, i forget which one it was. He was a lanky, spotty looking dork. I think it was Thompson.

Ironically the place had a load of cash to spend on CCTV, panic alarms and so forth - must have been cos he was there. Pretty much the whole of the area knew he was there too, but you never read it in the press.

None of my comments mention what I would do if I saw "daily", you challenged me to show "daily" how it's done (boxing) and , I believe, queried whether I would say to "defecating"'s face what I had written on the thread. I can assure you, on both counts, I would. :shame:

Well actually Simon - it was 'Teddy's Toupee' who used the 'real man' comment towards Howard insinuating that he wasn't a 'real man' because when he came up against 'real men' he lost fights. That is why I put 'real man' in commas because it was an outrageous thing to say on here. I would never ever question someone's manhood on here - it is disgraceful. And whatever Howard Daley is or isn't - he certainly is a man!

As for the 'wouldja' thread - there were lots of people being pricks on it. All part of the course if you ever venture in OS long enough.

So you thought you'd double the outrageous and disgraceful insults on the thread? I'm not sure that Howard Daley would need you to 'hold his coat for him'; he put his point of view across.

I imagine he is Carlos; and maybe you know even more, (only kidding). :OhYes:

In any case I'm done altogether with this one :TU:

Well, you never proved Howard is a coward or he beat up people in the cells for fun along with your other outrageous, baseless claims and illogical, nonsensical ranting but if in your own mind you have 'won' then thats all there is to it  Have a nice life!
