Well half it or maybe when we're done, you'll get 1/3rd of it, good luck anyway. You really think that's going to make everyone put their full effort in?
Its not Sky that put in the massive purse bid. So its not Sky who should suffer, or the boxers, but the person who promised the wages on the back of it being on PPV.
Plenty of promoters have lost money on bills before now.
I would have thought Fwank or SKY would have insurance to cover boxers pulling out or at the very least an agreement with Universum to cover costs in the (likely, given the track record of Brahmer) event of something like this happening.

Its a pretty shocking replacement IMO, not in a 8 rounder or 10 rounder - but it is for (or could be for) the world title.

I'm exactly the same. It's by no means a PPV show.

The WBO offered Tony Dodson a fight for the Super Middleweight title the other week, he couldn't make the weight - what about the Light Heavy version.

The more I think of it, the more Braehmer strikes me as an utter c*nt. For fecks sake, he's in and out of jail, Germany's answer to Kenneth Noi, allegedly assaults women, he's a danger to the public and he's made a shitload of people waste good money on fights he just doesn't show for. If ever there were a case for a boxer being banned, this twat is that case. He's a disgrace to the sport and he should never be allowed to earn another penny from it as far as I'm concerned.

i read that Frank didnt know until he didnt show at the airport where there was a car waiting for him. I love to see a photo of the cut/injury
What would that mean though Mark, WWE wrestlers blade themselves all the time to turn their matches into blood baths, a pic of Herr Dysfunctional with a cut wouldn't prove much at all.

Surely surely surely he was aware there was a cut if the injury occured 10 days ago. He must have enquired about how things are going at that stage. IF it is geniune, then you cannot blame braehmer for leaving it untill the last minute to pull out. We don't want another Khan vs Barrera or DLH vs Chavez situation - cannot expect Brahmer to fight with a cut.
I do find it a little suspicious that within a couple of hours of the news breaking, Sky have updated everything on their website, Johnny Nelson has written a column about it and its very quickly updated and informed.

He's just misunderstood, Glyn. A bit of an enigma. Although, now I'm out of pocket, I might be open to alternative interpretations.
I apologise Macho, I let my new man PC guise slip for a moment there. I now believe in giving him another chance.

Ticketmaster are saying no to all refunds because "at the time of purchase it was stated that the lineup was subject to change".
I feel like swearing a lot.

Bomber's latest tweet:
"I want the fight, I'm losing weight as we speak!! I'm happy to do it!! This is the fight business and I WANNA FIGHT!!!!"
I hope he doesn't end up doing himself any harm trying to lose weight quickly.
