I too have made similar bad calls ... I remember predicting Audley would beat Haye

With the size difference,
Haye only ever had a punchers chance and he didn't land end of story,

give him 3 or 4 rematches and he would at some point, maybe :OhYes:

Actually they showed he's leg after the fight and his toe was black/brown and swollen. I always wondered why he stopped sparring a week early. Respect Haye for not cancelling the fight. Maby he should have.. Wlad won but no pizza faces and David wasn't his number 50th. In a way rather disappointing fight. The first half of the fight looked pretty good for David and Wlad looked a bit silly hitting just air. His jab wasn't there.

His toe must have only started hurting in the 2nd half then ....

Nope - you're right. But what about the fans who flew to Vegas? I think there are plenty who enjoy sharing the glory, but are nowhere to be found after a loss.

Benn lost fights but never his loyal following. I think the Press are partly responsible for raising expectations, leaving casual fans deflated.

I just said he did have a broken toe. Nothing else. Ok? But now I see your take on the matter.. If you have an injury and if it's not fully recovered you may still use your injured limb (or whatever) awhile before it get's bad again. Isn't that the way it usually goes? It is. But that's not the point. David lost and that's it. I'm not a "what if" guy who says Vitali would have won against Lewis IF.. He didn't win and that's it.

So where does Haye effort rank in the British top 10? I'd say he'd be lucky to reach it
