Haye should fight Fury. Just for fun.
I would love that.deadpan wrote:Haye should fight Fury. Just for fun.

I agree Jeff.Jeff Thomas wrote:Thought that was tremendous actually; ok they don't look like world beaters but that was a great fight, two unbeaten lads showin loads of bottle, on terrestrial tv?! I wish we had that every week!
Top stuff and another cracking fury fight, the McDermott fights were brilliant viewing and so was this one! A heavyweight worth tuning in for IMO
I think that's because his height allows good rotation on the close-range body shots. Chisora lacked accuracy more than fitness. Fury was vulnerable at times, and, if you check the power shots from Chisora, I imagine you'd find a good figure for a HW fight. They just weren't flush.funtime wrote:If he [Fury] threw his hook and straight right with the venom of his body work he would be a much better boxer.

Fury will improve - Lewis vs Occasio and Murphy.....ring any bells.tonyevs wrote:Asterix wrote:We have Haye and Price.tonyevs wrote:So these are the best we got ..
Price is our only hope then..
Fury won easilly enough. But what a poor exhibition of a British champion.
agree as well..and those on about Price will wipe Fury out easy, who the has Price beaten to prove this? jury is still out on Price, last time i saw him get hit was in the olympics in beijing when that italian bloke handed his arrrrse to him..dont get me wrong he has potential but please dont say he will hammer a fighter who so far has proved more about himself than priceykeithmoonhangover wrote:I agree Jeff.Jeff Thomas wrote:Thought that was tremendous actually; ok they don't look like world beaters but that was a great fight, two unbeaten lads showin loads of bottle, on terrestrial tv?! Fury almost needs completely rebuilt imo. Doesn't throw any of his punches correctly and because of that has no power in them. Has so many huge flaws it will be hard to get him beyond this level. Good luck to him, but for me he just doesn't have it and never will.keithmoonhangover wrote:Fury will improve - Lewis vs Occasio and Murphy.....ring any bells.tonyevs wrote:Asterix wrote: We have Haye and Price.

Aye, but roll on a bit to Gary Mason.keithmoonhangover wrote:Fury will improve - Lewis vs Occasio and Murphy.....ring any bells.
Fury's got flaws, but he's also got more guts than anyone out there.Grilling Machine wrote:Aye, but roll on a bit to Gary Mason.keithmoonhangover wrote:Fury will improve - Lewis vs Occasio and Murphy.....ring any bells.
Chisora could've outjabbed Fury, gobbles. Energy-permitting, like. I was surprised. Fury's jab is a bit like Khan's - fishing more than controlling. Bad habit from fighting shorter guys?
How will Price react when he's in the trenches. Fury showed that he could do it tonight.Finch wrote:The quality on show tonight was awful.
Del boy clearly didn't train for this fight and hopefully will give him a kick up the arse. If he doesn't, Warren will sack him. Can't see Frank being too happy about the weight issue.
I've never rated Fury and my opinion hasn't changed. He has so little power and can't throw his punches properly. He was lucky Chisora came in so out of shape.
Fury has said he wants Haye next. I hope this fight happens and maybe worthwhile for Haye given a test against a tall heavyweight if he wants to take on a Klit again. Fury would be up for it and could be a decent money spinner given they're both British.
I think Price beats Fury easily if he can cope with Fury's workrate.
I would hope that Price would use a jab and avoid the type of basic trouble Fury got into tonight. Fury really needs to learn how to box and use size etckeithmoonhangover wrote:How will Price react when he's in the trenches. Yeah, he's a tough lad.keithmoonhangover wrote:Fury's got flaws, but he's also got more guts than anyone out there.
