That aside, it wasn't the greatest of cards tonight, but I actually enjoyed the show nevertheless.

I think we all have to accept that b allegedly was never going to put on consistent top quality cards every single week. The sheer volume of shows they are putting on means that the quality will not always be there, I think that is fair enough.

What worries me is what I have felt all along, that is the business plan which I cannot see how it works unless they have people with very deep pockets and masses and masses of sponsorship to help subsidise the low amount of subscriptions.

Agree with that, how much losses can they sustain. With the promotional company in a bit of financial distress still not filed 31/3/2011 accounts the quality of the UK shows has not been good since its gone subcription. The overesas shows are best thing on the channel. The Groves v Anderson and Burns fight are the best UK shows they got scheduled. Mitchell bill next week is poor.

What worries me a tad about the channel is there doesn't seem to be anything much concrete aside from the allegedly and Queensbury promotion shows.

They seemed to have a Setanta / Premier sports approach to the other shows - its almost as if they come on the forums, read the facebook requests of fights, and respond..... great for the fight fan - but not so great when it comes to planning things.

Sky will usually declare what bills they have, including international bills, weeks / months in advance. Its only really been in the last two weeks that Hernandez vs Cunnigham was confirmed.... and they apparently have exclusive deals with Saurland. This leads to less advertising / promotion and people making arrangements that aren't around the boxing.

When the channel first launched they announced all the shows months in advance - it looked so organised, now it looks like there is no plan.
