Haye is one tough MF and would easily KO Chisora.
Yeah they just showed a good bit of footage on sky sports news and chisora was definatley looking for trouble he had all his boys behind him ready to pounce. haye actually hit him with the left first, then hit him with the big right, and proceeded to beat the hell out of him. All chisoras crew were jumping on haye and when he managed to get up he smashed them up too.

If Haye is such a tough guy why did he feel the need to swing a tripod?

Took out Chisora's 'crew'? Christ, he's a heavyweight boxer, big achievement. He smacked Chisora full on the chin, with a botttle in his hand, and still didn't budge a man who was knackered after 12 gruelling rds with a giant so simply dragged him down to the floor.

Cannot believe anyone is looking at Haye like he's some kind of action man hero.

He shouldn't have even been there whoring himself trying to nab another undeserved payday.

According to some sources Haye went to hospital and received 13 stitches. I can't confirm whether this information is correct, it's merely hearsay at the moment. He allegedly took a few blows from Chisora's entourage during the brawl.

Buncey was questioned by police becasue they thought he knew where Haye was.

Well he was up against around 10 guys but the report may be getting mixed up between him and booth who clearly would have needed stitches, also i can imagine throwing a punch clenching a bottle in your hand may have opened up cuts on the palm of his hand.

Indeed. It could well be incorrect information given that I did not see any cuts on Haye during the video,

Maybe he was just being a bit shouty, and they thought they'd have a word.

Chisora got a taste of his own medicine, any other boxer approaches haye and i dont think he'd start blasting straight away, but chisora is a liability....his past antics lead to haye having to hit him first!

Plus that Boente didnt help shouting run David.....he had to stand his ground then!

i think you need to watch the footage from the multi angle version someone has posted, he used the tripod because about 4 guys were coming at him and chisora had picked a glass bottle up as a weapon. He also ruined chisora, that was the most damaging punch of the night. You can also see that chisora was clearly going over for a fight and shoved his fist in hayes face on some of the still photos.

http://www.eastsideboxing.com/news.php?p=30817&more=1

heres the stills of chisora putting his fist in hayes face, also the media are saying that bottle was plastic. Wlad says he warned haye that chisora may try and slap him.

"I'll fight David Haye. I gave him the mic and he glassed me so 1 to him and 1 to me". What does Chisora mean when he says 1 to me? Is this him admitting to glassing booth or wot?

lets not forget chisora had already said he was going to slap haye, so in my opinion haye was right to chin him in retaliation to verbal threats. chisora entered hayes personal space.......so got what he deserved.

Oh yeah, like when you're facing down a 17 stone heavyweight boxer (who is match fit, whereas I'm sure Haye isn't) who has stated that he is going to hit you, AND his team (I know people are exaggerating the numbers now but I count 3 in total) then you should be all Queensbury rules or you are some sort of pussy? It's a street fight not a boxing match, and rules go out the window. If there's a load of blokes who are trying to beat you up, smack 'em with whatever comes to hand, back up and get the eff out of there at the first opportunity. Smacking a pro boxer, who is also clearly a complete basket case, with a bottle when he's got mates behind him will stand up in court of law. It's reasonable force, because if he punches you he can kill you. A pro boxers hands are weapons. Sorry, I know the law. He did what he had to do and got away. Better to be judged by 12 than carried off by 6, as they say!

David Haye knows how to brawl, which is something that is clearly alien to some posters. Chisora went after him mob handed and got done over. Then starts crying and starts getting all gangsta when things don't go his way.

Anyway Vitali has publically stated he wants Haye as his last fight so of course Haye was there and has to get into promotion mode. I personally find Haye's salesman tactics very dull and I find Chisora quite amusing ("How's your toe David?" Classic). However Dereck let himself down with that press conference stunt while Haye has come away looking almost like a card carrying badass. Something I never thought I'd say again after Toe-gate. Reminds me why I was once a David Haye fan.

It's made me almost like David Haye again and I like the Klitschkos more for the way they conducted themselves through the chaos: Vitali's grin was classic. He enjoyed it as much as the rest of us. And Wladamir's comments were very classy.

I've said it before: Chisora v Haye, the 02, ASAP. If Haye wins, then give him his Vitali fight.

This is all terribly exciting. I've never posted so much on one subject. :geek2:

Chisora at the end saying my entourage is harder than your entourage, does ickle dereck need his mates to back him up like they had to get his jacket after he ran off.

good post.

i also notice the Klits are not blaming haye or complaining about him retaliating they are clearly disgusted with chisora.

the klitschkos were class acts throughout but they need guys to liven things up. I think they almost like haye and know he's a money spinner and hype artist / salesman, but they really cant understand chisoras behaviour.

well bunce tweeted to bellew regarding the brawl saying theres a bad and big tale being released tomorrow. wonder if that has anything to do with it. I didnt see haye injured in the footage, suppose they could have been brave enough to jump him later on. And Chisora did tweet that 1 to him 1 to me msg.

Chisora does pick up a bottle while screaming "he glassed me" but he is immediately restrained by his team and he throws the bottle on the floor - Haye is nowhere near him at the time. And Haye's punch hardly "ruined" Chisora. All it does is make him complain loudly. The other strange moment that hasn't been mentioned is when Chisora seems genuinely worried by Booth's injuries and starts dabbing away at his bleeding face with his towel. All in all, an evening that will be talked about for many years. For me it's equal in ludicrousness to the night an ageing, pot bellied Larry Holmes jumped off the roof of a car onto Trevor Berbick.

We probably have to be fair mate, it does ring a distant bell! When/how did you get into MMA - I've gone down a similar path but only in the past year and wished I'd 'discovered' it years ago...
im 30 now but dabbled in it since i was about 8 im crap at football so i got into other sports. Started with judo for 5 years then switched got a brown in karate, used to move around alot so started boxing for a couple of years on account of my father being in the RAF, then started muay thai at uni, my house mate was a karate instructor in his in the evening so carried on with that at the same time, then a mate of a mate opened a MMA gym in Cov so joined for a while and mixed it all together (incidentally the gym is closed now but it featured on danny dyers deadliest men, the day me and my mate couldnt get off work to go :witzend: ). Turns out karate is useless but the judo, thai boxing/boxing, mixed with wrestling and jujitsu is pretty damn effective. Wish MMA was big when i was younger or i had started with boxing and stuck to it. A friend of mine used to kick box for great britain and we go to the gym together, we keep talking about getting into fighting shape again but i think im too old for it now.
Yep, I hear ya. I switched to boxing at the age of 20 after getting disillusioned with 'semi-contact'. Had to stop at 23 as had to commute for work and only got back in the evening once training was over but definitely wish I'd been in a position to continue. Trying to make up for lost time now, but you can't turn the clock back
