Shame.

Seems like the question was answered regarding the chin.

Not even a full-blooded punch, looked almost an arm punch, Thompson wasn't quite set to deliver it but he still folded. A great shame really, I'm quite gutted it's happened like this, was looking forward to Price vs a Klitschko or something.

What is amazing is that nobody could see Price was a KO waiting to happen - from day one I said it - didn't think Thompson would do it but there was no way in the hope of mankind that Price would have got to world level without getting KO'd. At least he can rebuild now the ridiculous hype train has finally been derailed.

I hope you nationalistic fools will stop hailing your countrymen as future world champions and all time greats just because they put together a couple of wins.

Bigger is better. Please. The old school tricks Jersey Joe and Ezzard Charles would inflict on big powerhouse goons like David Price would be unimaginable.

where do you think his chin is?
You know what I mean. I still think he'd beat Fury, though.
Adam you n00b, "chinny" in boxing means you cannot absorb a headshot.

If it doesn't even land on the chin & you collapse like you've been hit by a sniper in the third row, you are chinny.

Although in deference to your pedantry shall we call him "Necky" from now on?

Where were you seeing it before? Was it just on the basis of the Camarelle fight?

To be fair there were plenty highlighting his chin issues from the start.

The silliness was from the scouse sports fans who, looking at their football support ( red half at least ) are not exactly new to high levels of delusion.

I can't believe people were genuinely saying he would take Wlad out. Never saw anything to suggest that.

Still make a decent scrap between he pair. I wish it had been Chisora in there with him, I was convinced Chisora could stop him, now I'm positive.
Good call.

Didn't even look much of a shot...Rawling was saying that was an amazing punch, then saw the replay and realised it wasn't - Price was unlucky it got him right on the temple - as TT looked out of shape in there - but in the brutal wold of boxing he's a sitting duck from now on, with a bullseye target on his chin.

Adam, the man just collapsed from a sharp love-tap to the ear.

He was goner than gone.

What the hell would have to happen for you to label him chinny then? Thompson punch his head clean off?

& in reference to your point: he's been hit clean twice.

ive been saying it for months and months that when price gets caught we will see the real him, skelton got through with a few and Thompson caught him and that's that, we british likes to hype people up and I fear now price will be carefully matched again

Nope. Fury is a future world champion. I said that after his first pro fight.

Lot of truth there :TU:
ersey Joe was Ko'd the first 2 times he stepped up to fringe world class, but he came back to be one of the best stylists, Price is never going to be a stylist he's a hot or be hit guy

Ezzard Charles lost a few times coming up in world class, being knocked down 8 times in one of those. But i also think he's one of the greatest to lace up gloves.

this proves you can lose on the way up and come back

There were a fair few who put him down or put him on funny feet as an amateur. His strengths
are his power and his strength, I don't think he could ever transform into a defensive counterpuncher
like Wladimir therefore he was always a KO risk - you can't defend the chin to that extent where he would need to, to minimise the risk - he can comeback and win British or the Commonwealth title and if he lands he can win - let's see!

He was absolutely legless, more unbalanced & weaving around than Enzo when Haye hit him. Amazing he got up in fact, as he looked helpless on the canvas.
