If Goodwin failed to make the weight by some distance then he is a diagrace to the sport he has shown a complete lack of respect to the Promotor the sport and the paying public IMO

More empty seats than full ones but still a decent loud York Hall atmosphere when the action got lively.

All the home fighters on the bill were announced in advance so there was a bill. You've been told why the away fighters weren't announced on a number of occasions.

I was at the show and there were a number of evenly matched bouts on the bill, excluding the female fight which was very poor but I understand that that was a very replacement.
Is it normal for there to be more empty seats than full ones at a non televised York hall show? Steve Goodwin absolutely stacks his york hall shows and surely he couldn't financially do that if that was the case? Is iain weaver a ticket seller?
Probably showing my lack of knowledge but what do these pro novices get paid for 4 and 6 rounders on shows like this?
I was there but sorry, can't give all the results or match-ups. I was just there just watching fights rather than committing to memory the names of 4-round fighters (I'm 54, my memory is shot to pieces and I'm too much of a minge-bag to buy a programme). What CAN I remember? A feller (name from VIZ magazine?) called 'Scrappa Smith', who seemed to have a fair bit of support (including a particularly bladdered feller wearing a tie who could barely stand and made a total twat of himself imo had) lost a decision. A lad called Weaver from Southampton who had a few supporters ('Weaver believers' they told me) beat a feller (possibly named Bean). A girl called Marianne who looked like she'd boxed before, stopped a girl who looked like she'd been dragged away from a cash-register at Lidl and promised a hundred nicker if she could last longer than 15 seconds. There was a pale skinny East European kid who had 'here to lose' written all over him but I thought showed a lot of guts (though he did lose). There was a feller with dreadlocks who did a bit of dancing before he got into the ring (he won) and.....no, I can't remember anymore really. Oh yes I can, Lloyd Honeyghan was in the audience. He was wearing a striking white suit, a flat cap and was holding a cane. Not sure if the cane was for vanity or because he now needs one (he looked cool though). Sorry I can't be of more help.

Usually every promotor gets a good house at the York Hall if your a home fighter the purse is usually dependent on ticket sales the away fighter about 1000 pounds for a 4 rounder
If it is that there was a poor attendance the home fighters purses will reflect that.Unless the promotor is prepared to throw money at it
I was there to cover the Fagan fight so didn't make a note of all the names and results but Iain Weaver beat Damian Lawniczak on points over four rounds.

I am sure that Robert Smith would know the results being as Boxrec do all the results on the Boards website so its inconceivable that Boxrec wouldnt have told him if they knew the results mate dont you think ? Anyway I will wait and see if Boxrec publish the results soon
