In the UK would be a great advantage for Froch. But Mccracken is an honest bloke and he didn't look bullish about it you are right. I personally think Ward has got him, but i'd still like to see it in the UK (just in case)

What a fight!!

Like the first one it was clear who won IMO but it was a very close fight and some great entertainment.

I had it 116-113 Froch. Couldn't split them in the 9th. The 118-110 card is a joke.

yup - froch's style looked to clash with ward's last time out, and I don't see how things would look much different at the o2, especially with froch being almost 37 come fight time.

There is really nobody left to fight at 168lbs except Ward and I don't see a rematch going any different. It's the perfect time to move up to 175lbs, but it seems Carl make 168lbs very comfortably at age 35 so maybe that's never on the cards.

Ward- beats froch everytime
Hopkins- think froch beats him, not really an exciting fight and dont think it will prove much
Cleaverly- Thats a fight I would love to see....sadly we all no it will never happen
Bika- if bika wins his next fight then this would be an absolute war and there would be another belt at stake
Groves- I think this would be more competitive than most ppl think, Groves is a hard fight for anyone in this division

Anyone score this 117-112 or more need to watch it again. I can see some giving the 4th and 9th to Froch.... But Kessler won 4 rounds clear.

thinking about how many fights carl has got left in him.. he has a good business outside boxing... his partner has just had a another baby .. so he maybe looking for one or two big last purses....froch could actually go for the ward... boxers can sometimes look for excuses of why they lost to a guy once.. but rarely excuses will come when losing twice.. the only big fights really left.. is ward and groves (mainly because a bit of bad blood between them recently) however not sure if groves is quite ready for carl thou... so it will interesting to see who carl fights next and like eddie said carl is going to have a long break...

It's sad that Froch has few options. He can't just move up to 175 because he has that freakish ability to maintain a constant weight. If he did though I would want to see him in with Dawson.

Groves might be the best option for now.

That was a big round for Frochy.

Thought kessler was on his last legs back in the corner after the 8th, reminded me of tszyu between one of the latter hatton rounds. Kessler a true warrior to the end though. Both guys have unbelievable chins, truly unbelievable especially when you see non-punchers flooring likes of khan, price etc... These two are both heavy hitters and they took each others shots and kept coming.

Just finished watching the fight, thought it was great better boxing than their first meeting. Prior to the fight i had a feeling Kessler was gonna nick it on points but Froch was a deserved winner, had him winning by 3 rounds. So much respect for both guys but hope Kessler calls it a day. Carl still has a few big domestic fights left but don't want to see him in again with Ward or Hopkins.

Just got back. Quality night. Carl deserved it but what on earth was the 118-110 about!?

As for the future? As far as I'm concerned both men can rest easy now. Great way to go out, massive fight, laid it all on the line etc

Turn it in chaps. Nothing left out there IMO.

Light heavy isn't an option IMO. The man walks around at super mid, at the most.

At super mid its another defeat to Ward or going over old ground again. Maybe the rubber match with Kessler.

Neither man is a spring chicken. Good time to bow out, not that I think Froch will.
