If you're feeling unloved now wait till Parson Cross gets out of his pit.

It's not credible to say Brook was boring prior to the win at the weekend, or to say his win at the weekend was boring. Yes, its been a frustrating time while his title opportunity eventually materialised.

You have to say that Kell has put up with a lot, done what has been asked of him, played the waiting game, and then he's gone to America and dethroned an unbeaten and highly regarded champ on his own soil. He's now sitting pretty - he has a legit title, and is not obliged in terms of rematches or contractual options. He can make a fortune and I hope he does just that.

Somebody saying he is boring is like eighty thousand fans at a gig loving every minute, and there's one guy sat on his own with a glum face saying its crap.

Look at the poll results. I wasn't alone in thinking Brook's career was boring.

His career looked to have stagnated and he hadn't made the progress as quickly as we'd have imagined. The last 3 years were frustrating to see; people around his gym saw that he could do more, some of his performances and opponent's didn't give others the same confidence.

I'm embarrassed for you Horse. Kell Brook has well and truly landed on his feet, he has been vindicated, and he's broken into the big time, and here you are on the forums saying "look at the poll results".

To be fair to horse the thread is 12 months old and was bumped after the Saturday result.

However you did post only a matter of days before the fight that you expected Brook to pull out - insinuating he was a coward.
Have you a different interpretation of that ?
Historically you have made groundless allegations of him feigning injury and bottling it.
How do you expect people to react ?
You seek validity on your rankings and seek criticisms but then mock people if they have the audacity to query them - why ?
I can't be bothered to gloat I really can't.
I have a list as long as my arm of doubters who have been in touch and simply congratulated him and said they got it wrong.

A sad response by Horse.
I always advocate putting a spade down before digging too deep but now you are accusing Brook of being a basket case.
I agree - stay away.

Brook will kick on with his career now.

10 years into the pro game and he's delivered himself a world title, taking it from Porter in his own backyard.

Injuries, politics and whatever else have stagnated his career at different points but I think after that performance and proving to himself + the boxing public that he can do it at world level as well as with the odds stacked against him, means we're in for some very good nights with Brook.

He looked like he had more gears to go through if need be in the Porter fight also.

To me, the better the opponent/occasion, the better Kell Brook we'll see in the ring.

Far from boring has a very good style and it's a very solid style which is technical but also very strong on the front and Backfoot people need to give him some credit. He's not boring as is being suggested by the topic. I want to see him box a top level guy who also tries to box clean and not brawl and come in head first trying to rush him. I think we will see him beat some of these guys in a good fashion.

I see your point regarding opposition but what is boring about the way he fights? His career frustrates me but I like his style of fighting and enjoy watching him.

And why is there not a 'no' option in your poll?
