If anything, I find it more telling that Fury and his people are not interested in rescheduling. To me I think it suits them, they can insinuate that Haye did it deliberately, and claim they were ducked, and move on without having to face a man who was rightly favourite to smash Fury to pieces. Fury v Wilder - cobblers, I think we all know that's just a load of bluster - Wilder would be all risk and no reward.

I'm not even a particular fan of Haye - i find him a bit irritating at times, and didn't really have much respect for him after the wholly negative performance against Wlad, after the ridiculous pre-fight bluster and braggadocio - but in this instance, he clearly just went a little too hard in sparring, and got unlucky.

It's a real shame this fight didn't happen, because I think we would have seen a right tear up after a quiet first couple of rounds, i doubt Fury could have boxed to order, and even if he did, Haye would have been able to slip the jab and get inside. Once he got there, Fury would have been forced to trade, and then...well, I think we know what the outcome there would be.

Why doesn't fury want to reschedule, given the huge amount of money on table....?? I can think of only one explanation.

I was answer the "he couldn't be arsed" part.

Can't stop injuries happening, but back to back fights off due to injuries, both called on or around the week of a fight and I think both were at the same arena...interesting amount of coincidence with this and the Charr bout.

I have no argument on the cut, my original reply was in reply to "how many fights has he pulled out of". It's funny that he has had 3 pull outs from 8 bouts, equally interesting is that he also got injured prior to the eventual Wlad fight (the toe) and in the Valuev fight (his hand).

Maybe he has a bit of a fragile body...

Where else is Fury going to make that kind of money, he sure as hell won't get it fighting either Klit, they will offer him absolute peanuts. Who else is out there that has Haye's marquee value right now - I cannot think of a single heavyweight, - Wilder is exciting, but he's not got much of a fanbase right now.

I dont think ticket sales were an issue it was more or less sold out.
