I am impressed at clever people and a lot of it is wasted on me - it just goes straight over my head, must be nice to be clever.

palooka doesn't really live next door to a brothel and he is not, to my knowledge, a user of brothels. He does, however, live next door to a crack house.

Crack house, smack den, brothel it doesn't really matter as we can't do anything about it but I don't go to brothels, got a family to consider.

For the record, palooka is a hard-working, conscientious individual, and doesn't live next door to a crack-house and does not frequent any brothels anywhere.

No, a joke's a joke but palooka doesn't use brothels and his neighbours don't run a crack-house/of ill-repute. He does work hard and he is a thoughtful individual (who has skysports).

Haye is undefendable at this stage, i honestly question every single one of the injuries his ever claimed. No shoulder surgery 3 months before a fight is minor and he only notifies the press after it was supposedly a lot more serious than he taught it was, even if it was minor it would have cut into his training time. I feel Haye could have a lawsuit on his hands this time

1. Haye has an injured shoulder.
2. His doctor gives him an MRI.
3. The doctor tells him he needs surgery.
4. He has the surgery.
5. He waits until he knows the extent of the damage before making it public.

Tell me what's wrong with that? The guys just had career ending surgery FFS.

The fact that he didnt disclose he had a shouler problem before the fight was renegotiated, or even when he knew he was going for surgery it should have been mentioned earlier. He said he taught it was a minor operation, no shoulder surgery for a boxer is minor it should have been disclosed even if he taught he was going to be ready to fight in February. This was seriously unprofessional behavior from Haye, theres more people involved in the fight than just him, theres the fans who have once again probebly lost money on hotels, travel etc, Fury who has wasted almost a year of his time looking for this fight and Hennessey Promotions who have lost money. You can excuse some of the excuses he has made for earlier pull outs but the last three pull outs his made this year have really left a lot people feeling bitter towards him and not believing a thing which comes out of his mouth even if its backed up by evidence, thats how much people dont trust him. Can you name a boxer ever thats been worse than David Haye for pulling out of fights and making excuses?

If he had come out 2 weeks ago and said he had a shoulder injury and he was going to have an operation for it, he would of got slated and we all would of said this is just another excuse in the making ! All though the toe issue never should of got mentioned, the back, the cut, the toe and now this are all 100% genuine IMO ! If his career is over, I wish him the best of luck in what ever he choses to do :TU:

Dissapointed, but listen, if the guys injured and has proof there's not alot he or anyone else can do about it. I would probs be a little more angry if I had booked flights , hotels and tickets but as I saud, it's dissapointing.

I'm new here (first day .. hello) so I'm loathe to get into conflict with anyone so soon, but this is one of the most idiotic posts I've ever read on a boxing forum.

So your comparing David Haye to Joe Calzaghe ,a guy who had ridiculously bad hand problems and even he isnt on Haye's level with regrads this.

Yes . . some people have paid for hotels TWICE (apparently)

I hope HORSE is one of them
I find it hard to take when you have an apparent boxing fan who is actually wishing that other fans on a forum whom we have never met or seen are actually losing money through no fault of their own and this fool is getting a kick out of the fact.

Also coming here slating everyone when you do not know these people. Its maybe me but we have a troll in our midst.

Grafton mate, you're tilting at windmills here. I think the above picture is a succinct summary of the general flow of this forum, lately. You might think they're singling you out especially, but this is how they operate (ho-ho, see what I did there, I must be David Haye in disguise!) around here, you'll either get sick of the way seemingly reasonable people act like fvckwits over certain issues & just leave them to it or fade into the background & occasionally surface to post amusing cat pictures.

However, to sum up the Boxrec regulars' groundswell of feeling & as the originator of the "I blame George Groves" meme which will surely come crashing down & cease (?) to be amusing when Georgy gets splattered versus Froch, I hereby amend said meme to "I blame David Haye".

This new utterance will be a universally-applicable one-size-fits-all pronouncement, no matter what life throws at you. Got cancer? "I blame David Haye." Wife run off with your sister? "I blame David Haye". Worried about the plight of the Rrom in Eastern Europe? "I blame David Haye".
