Really? I can't see how Lara gets the 10th.. and you've been giving Trout all kinds of rounds.
And I don't understand how you could have it so wide, although so many of the rounds were very close.
It's easier to give close rounds to who you picked to win.
Has nothing to do with it. I have been out of the contest for some time this year. I could not care less whether my choices are correct or not; especially not trying to rationalize a robbery.
Cheap shot.
So two of the judges had it within one point of my card. Wow, I was way off on that

To be fair though, judges are more often than not clueless when it comes to their cards. That's not meant as a pop at you either.

Or blame it on a weight thing and move divisions.
Even that will only give him one more big fight tops if he doesn't get it done next time out. Peter Quillin doesn't have a lot of options though at 160...so who knows what could happen.
Quillin would flatten Trout I think.

Think I'm moving to HBO for the Tapia/Kirkland fight.. rather than Porter/Alexander.

No shot towards you at all. Jcs picked Lara.
My card and his were only 2 rounds apart.. I merely questioned his scoring of the 10th, since he leaned Trout more times than I had up until that point.

Quillin, like a lot of guys at 160, is outrageously untested and overrated in his ability. Trout would probably give him huge headaches.

PLEASE GUYS NO SPOILERS ABOUT THE HBO CARD IN THIS THREAD. I INTEND TO WATCH THAT CARD'S REPLAY ON HBO WEST IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE SHOWTIME CARD

I think Trout would be too small for Quillin. On top of that he can be dropped by moderate punchers at 154, quillin would spark him, im sure of it.

Lara would give Floyd the toughest fight since Castillo, Lara would beat Alvarez' punk gift-wrapped ass

I don't know. There are ridiculous decisions, but I wouldn't go so far as "more often than not."

I think Trout is quite a bit a better boxer. It would be interesting.
I honestly think Quillin is underestimated in that regard. He's a good counter puncher quillin.

Maybe, maybe not, probably just supporting the St. Louis guys, kind of like Aaron Pryor showing up in Broner's corner sometimes.

People talking about Quillin being a great boxer; y'all see him struggle with Rosado? Do you really rate Gabriel Rosado at middleweight? Be real.

Ugly first round. I thought Alexander landed more clean punches.
1-0 Devon

He hardly struggled with Rosado, he was landing clean effective shots and Rosado was throwing a lot and pressuring but hardly landing. He got in a few licks but he was well behind.

I've been saying I'd favor Erislandy over Floyd for awhile. This fight did nothing to change that opinion. I don't think Erislandy is getting on the short list til he beats a cat like Saul though & I think its likely Floyd won't even fight above 147 anyway so virtually no chance Erislandy vs Floyd happens imo. I'd love to see it though.

I dont think Alexander has started that well.
