I see Robert Smith is there on a jolly
And feels sorry for Fwank too. Nice to see they're buddies again after that Haye/Chisora fussManchester Hitman wrote:I see Robert Smith is there on a jolly
Yeah, he looked under a lot of pressure.handsofstone wrote:I thought Fwank looked like he was gonna break downpalooka wrote:Mr Warren has just said that something happened during routine surgery and that Tyson's uncle was in a very critical state.
So it's a bad channel because you don't want to stay up to watch fights and learn the result before the repeats? Blaming Warren for Fury pulling out and using it to have a go at the channel?TheCobra wrote:I must say this is really annoying and poor form. I kept on my subscription to allegedly cos of this fight and now it's gone. Cancelling it after tonight, sick of the Warren nonsense, I rarely stay up late for the other cards and end up catching repeats when I already know the result. Can't really be arsed if I'm honest it's been a poor channel so far since I subbed.
It's pretty crap for the money in general. Warren's lost lots of the key British people so can't put many decent British scraps on, I gave it a try and off my experience so far it hasn't been worth a tenner a month.SNG wrote:So it's a bad channel because you don't want to stay up to watch fights and learn the result before the repeats? I don't know why some of you ever signed up.
You got SKY? I'd drop that first, personally.TheCobra wrote:It's pretty crap for the money in general. If you are a boxing fan, and I presume anyone on here is, allegedly is fabulous value for money compared to the £70-odd quid I pay for Sky.SNG wrote:You got SKY? Perhaps interest in overseas stuff sways me but it's an easy tenner a month for me. Only thing that fucks me off is lack of HD on virgin.
The international fights are worth it alone. I couldnt really care about the domestic crap.TheCobra wrote:It's pretty crap for the money in general. I'm seriously considering cancelling Sky Sports, been realising recently how little I watch of it apart from boxing.gobbles wrote:I also got a letter last week saying my Sky subscription is going up by £4 per month.

Yes, Sky is a multi-sports channel, but boxing is my favourite sport. And if the last Sky show in Liverpool is anything to go by, we are going back to a WWE style TV presentation, where for your huge subscription, the regular programming is just providing a build-up to their Pay-per-view shows.
Frankie Gavin Friday night.TheCobra wrote:I'm a football and boxing fan probably in equal measure s Sky Sports can't go as I do watch loads of the Premiership stuff. I'm a massive British boxing fan, probably over and above the international stuff, I know that might not make sense to some but I was brought up on Friday Fight Night so I love the whole leisure centre/small hall scene and loved that Sky supported it back then. I was kind of hoping allegedly would take up that mantle as Sky have now just moved to the big arena shows with Fast Eddie, but they haven't really done that so far.
I'll stick with BN for now and see how it goes, £12 a month or whatever isn't huge money, I'm sure we all spend that on a few beers.
I'm honestly not in the know about this. But I trust the two I've said.Hagler2002 wrote:I wish I was in the know! Then I could come on here and pretend to be forum demigod.

Fury will get very little sympathy not because people don't care about his uncle but because he constantly acts like a knob.
