Or that Leonard didn't defend the welterweight title against a Jr middleweight?

What were the excuses why he had so much trouble with Edwin Viruet, and got schooled by Benitez?

He had a lot of trouble with slick guys that could move; not exactly rocket science here.

The rematch really was not that soon. It was 5 months after the first fight; plenty of time for Duran to be in shape.

Five months is not enough time for a fighter to get in shape after a grueling match and partying like an animal. It takes time to recuperate.

It hurts to Sugar Ray's supporters that he didn't beat The Hands of Stone at his very best. They believe that that was the same Duran of Montreal.

there are tons of controversial subjects in

I've been watching some Aaron Pryor fights recently and man did I forget how good that guy was ! Power in both hands, could get up on his toes and move. could jab, could hook off the jab, and throw punches as easy as breathing.

It seems to me that most skillfull had Roy Jones Jr and Ray Leonard! This does not mean that they are the best all time!

Truly great fighters like the above two can do it effectively. It's definitely an odd statement to make when considering how gifted the two of them were and what they accomplished in the sport.

Just watch their fights again. Neither of the two were good inside fighters. They can't fight inside.

Immediately the first fight starts, Leonard is a log more flat footed than in the second fight. It's as plain as day.

The second fight, Duran is immediately not as quick or inspired. Plain as day. I guess neither of them earned a victory, they both just fought the wrong fight.
