I think he (Benny May) lost on cuts, he was a really good junior with every punch in the book and a good work rate. His dad helped out at the gym and sadly got really I'll (cancer I think) and passed away when Benny was still a young lad.

Derek Angol v Akim Tafer

Watch the Chris Pyatt fight. Ive never seen a referee stop a fight before then restart it. I bet this ref never got another title fight ever. Simply the worse reffing ever.
The Billy Schwer fight is a good one too as there is a near riot in the crowd

Billy Schwer had a large following of Men In Gear - Luton Town hooligans.
Have you any Norbert Ekassi, mimmy? He was a beast.

No probs mimmy - he was a French cruiserweight very aggressive and heavy handed and a little chinny - he beat Johnny Nelson and sadly died after putting his hand through a window, he bled to death.

Bradley Stone was a really good little boxer, such a shame what happened (and to Tony Silkstone).
Loughran was a handful.

Hi Palooka
I was quite a fan of Norbert Ekassi back in the early 1990's. I was transferring some of his footage the other week and remembered that he had a famous boxing trainer...you remember who??

It was smoking Joe ! Not much is written about Norbert. I watched quite a lot on him recently. He defeated Johnny Nelson if you remember - he was going places until he ran into Alexander Gurov which was a shame. He was a very athletic, tall and powerful cruiser. Such a shame at what happened. Enjoyable to watch.

Interesting that Norberts last opponent was Keith McMurray. When I was watching the fight it struck me that Keith McMurray had a resemblance to 1960' contender Bill McMurray who fought Liston amongst others. I wonder if they are related. I haven't put time into researching whether they are or not.

Klemetson was a brutal puncher I remember him wiping Crawford Ashley out and he hit hard enough to do serious damage.
