Yeah really bad. Rocky looked good though.
I think Vera caught IJL in the corner of his eye after he slipped , and IJL was shouting at something right behind him when he stood, he must of thought it was being a break, then Felding catching him with the left. Felding didn't do anything wrong as its protect yourself at all times, but IJL put Vera off i think
I agree. It's his nervy jumpy style that puts fighters off.

He's a danger

IJS strikes again lol! Inept, timid refereeing! Get a grip! Well done to Fielding though. Good win.

Its a shame that 45 seconds of poor refereeing will put a stain on what was a good performance from Fielding.

Smith nailed it in the post fight punditry re the stoppage and the refereeing performance.

(End stoppage was fair though)

Nelson sticking up for IJL is ridiculous too.

Whilst I'm not saying he's wrong, didn't smith say we can't talk about what it's like to be a fighter unless we've done it?...

i feel cheated i didnt rate Rocky at all prior to the fight and im still not sure if i do thanks to IJL. he let Vera get hit on the floor then Vera thinks something is going to be said he gets caught with a superb left hook clean. Not many fighters could come back off that i dont think. NOt knocking Fielding fair play to him throwing the shot

Everyone on a Matchroom show has to mention it at least once, it'll be a bet or a challenge.

This is how a ref should be, the great ref Sid Nathan
he's reffing a Bruno fight here, the crowd is all hyped, the boxer gets knocked down early, but watch how Sid just so calm walking around the ring, not trying to dance like a boxer, not looking to jump in at every oppurtunity and not trying to be part of the fight!

I'm pretty sure only Carl Froch did that.

I think I'm sold on the idea that Adam Smith put Halling there so we wistfully reminisce about Adam Smith describing the 'crackling atmosphere'.
