I think the two lessons we have learnt tonight are that Tommy Martin is 21 years old and Carl Frampton likes George Groves' jab.

Groves did what he needed to do and looked pretty good.

Cant really see Groves going near Smith until Smiths profile raises more. It would be a step backward at this point, not a step backward compared to tonights opponent of course but it would be high risk for little reward. It is however a fight id like to see, just cant see Groves taking it.

Groves' comments regarding Fitzpatrick were a joke, will be interesting to see the battle of words between him and Shane/Barry McGuigan if or when this partnership goes pear shaped.

Commentators here talking of Groves v Murray, thats another good fight id like to see.

Thats a fair assessment I think he will fight De Carolis for the title next to be honest and he will never get a better chance to win the title he craves

Well, I didn't think he would be unmotivated anyway, so it was pretty meaningless to me.

They should have picked a better easy comeback opponent for Groves.

He really shouldn't feel the need to drop down this low for an opponent.

It suggests a lack of confidence if anything and makes him look weak.

Slightly better than that Groves fight in my opinion.

I don't think they are doubting Leon's pedigree, it's just his age, with a professional football career behind him.

I thought the Hibbert /Martin fight was a really entertaining scrap and wouldn't mind a rematch .

There are a lot of haters and negative people out there willing people to lose and do badly.

Some people feel that he's some kind of Johnny Come Lately, getting by on his name chancer and don't like him for that reason.

Not everyone is as graceful and well wishing as us Horse. Nor do they share our infinite wisdom.

Not too bad a card tonight, helped by a couple of half-decent undercard scraps. Hibbert always gives value for money and Martin showed some good promise for a 21 year old, bit too soon for Martin though, just lacks that power and man strength so I think they need to develop him carefully and slowly for a couple more years, don't rush him into any more tough fights like this too soon.

Main fight Di Luisa was a bit crap but George looked good, a solid comeback fight. I agree the comments about Paddy are now in poor taste, he's in the last chance saloon now as there'll be nobody left to blame if he fails at the top level again.
