How does Browne scoring a KO suggest that he wasn't getting too much credit for things that occured before he even dropped Chag? Typical Brute elementary logic.

I was convinced Browne was getting bounced tonight. I LOVE being wrong like this.

Winner of Browne vs Oquendo suppose to fight the winner of Ortiz - Ustinov.

I thought it was Browne vs. Oquendo 1-side of the bracket and Fury/Klitschko & Ortiz/Ustinov the other side?

We can question the authencity of course - but that's Frank Maloney, allegedly, David Haye, Mick Hennessy and now Ricky Hatton as British promoters of World Heavyweight Champions.
This will do Hatton promotions so much good.

Yes, winner of Browne vs Oquendo will fight the Super (and proper) WBA champion.

I agree. Hatton deserves this. He works his arse off and has sunk some money into Browne. Chuffed for him.

Well in that case why stop there? Why not include Audley Harrison? Was he promoting himself when he won a WBF title?

Haha get in there Browne, what a great win against the odds,he actually showed some good movement but i had Chagaev picking up the points because Lucas wasnt really throwing, then after he got put down he had his best round, then kinda went back into a lull but fair play for picking out that right hand,it was a peach, only Ruslan's massive testes kept him on his feet, great finishing too from Browne
Must be pooing himself now though,i'd be on the 1st thing flying out of Grozny

Can't help but like Browne. The most well drilled you'll see but he's got bags of heart and raw power. Love to see guys like that getting some success. Hopefully he manages to get a couple big fights off the back off this. Australian boxing was in need of a bit of a shot in the arm so it's good to see. Him vs Parker would be massive for that part of the world if it could be made...

Don't know how anyone could have had Browne in front at that stage, but a few on CS have.
Gutsy display from Browne, likeable guy too. Hope he manages to earn a bit of cash from having the strap now.
