With all due respect, fcuk brook, maybe if he had faced one or two more top opponents in his career he wouldn't have to bang on about Khan constantly.

For such an obviously talented fighter Brook's opposition has been shockingly poor. Even when he was down to fight Brandon Rios and Diego Chavez both of these fights seemed underwhelming, stalling his career. But, Porter aside, they would have been the best names on his resume by quite some way. He didn't even fight them!

Khan has upped the stakes so high now (he mentioned fighting Canelo last year I think so this is not that much of a surprise to me) that Brook has to fight Bradley, Garcia, or the winner of Porter/Thurman in his next fight otherwise he is king of the "who needs him?" club and looks completely mismanaged. He is known by the more casual boxing fanbase but isn't anywhere near as big as he should be and I doubt big enough to pay to bring any of those names over here, so he'll have to take the short end and fight them in the states.

I don't get the assumption that Khan v Brook could do Wembley. Doesn't seem anywhere near that big to me. Especially down south.

Brook does fight Bizier in March, but that's because he has a mandatory World title defence. The idea was to get it out of the way March, to open up a super fight in the summer. Of course he will get more. The U.S. charges more for PPVS, you have site fees etc. People kept going on about Froch-Groves II, 80,000 and all that last night. Froch came out with around £8,000,000. He is arguably one of the biggest names in Britain, but chased Chavez in Vegas next, do you think that was purely based on his dream of fighting there?

If Britain is a huge draw can you explain why Floyd “MONEY” Mayweather has never come over here to milk that cash cow? Floyd earned around $25,000,000 for Marquez, a fight that was seen as competitive as Babe Ruth Vs a glass piñata and didn’t take place in front of 80,000 at Wembley.

Yeah, I just don't see it. Froch/Groves 2 was so big because of the conclusion of the first fight which was in front of what, 1/4 of the spectators?

Amir has got some bottle, Brook is a big welter but I very much doubt he'd face any of the light middleweight champs. If Khan puts on a good show the Brook bout is still there but Kell needs to up his opposition.

The Brook fight is still there even if he gets annihilated.

The fight would make less money, but he'd still be a very good opponent for Brook and he could still probably demand the lion's share.

Do you think he'll even attempt to get back to 147 after this fight? Maybe he'll look/feel more comfortable and stay at 154? I personally think he's ready for chucking it after Canelo but who knows....

Suppose Brook is a big Welter so could step up no probs but there are so many good fights at 147 for him. I'm a fan of Brook but he's a frustrating character.

In one swoop he's proved he isn't afraid of boxing Brook. Best of luck to Khan, I can't see him winning but if he and his team have had this in mind for a while I can see him giving it a right go.

They'll have been desperate for the Brook vs Khan Wembley fight.
