Fury looks and sounds like a man in his fifties. Hard to believe he's still only 28.
Pointless noise to generate desperate attention.

Obviously im quite late to this party but after the klit fight he gave aj a lot of isues even putting him down but fury made him look very poor.
I agree with what most people are saying about fury, great boxer but how will he be when and if he comes back. Im a big fury fan i think when he beat klit he was comfortably the best hwavyweight in the word. But if he was to come back in a month 2,3 or whenerver he fancys it without a fight with decent fighter before hand aj will win.
But of he comes back as the same fighter he was Aj will be in for a shock by a style that only tyson can do and if he is that fighter i bet he would beat aj very easily. We can only hope he can be back to his best.

Why does Fury's voice sound so hoarse? He's been sounding like that for about two years.

I believe he got punched in the throat during sparring and it has affected his vocal chords...

Yes , you could see a prime Fury beating Joshua very easily , a former Olympic gold medalist and current world champion would just roll over and offer nothing

I think the Fury that beat Klit would pose serious problems for AJ and any other fighter but I just see him being able to come back as good as he was.

The fury that beat wlad wouldn't last 6 rounds with Joshua or Wilder.

He sounded ok today in Monaco. Before that he has sounded terrible since the Isaac Lowe v Ceylan fight in March.

I'd pick him to beat Wilder. Wilder is awful.

Watched an IFL interview with Adam Booth this week and Kugan asked this question. Booth said it was a great question and if it was the Fury from the night that he beat Wlad he'd fancy him to win against Joshua but if they fought right now he'd tip AJ. Was a really good interview out in Monaco, Booth seemed very relaxed and more engaging than usual, he even spoke freely about Haye, Groves, Saunders and Eubank where he's usually quite reluctant to give too much away, especially about fighters he's been involved with.

Fury has bought a property near Amlwch on the island of Anglesey, North Wales. By all accounts he's frequenting the local watering holes on a very very regular basis. It's common knowledge that the ankle injury he suffered in the run up to the klitchko rematch was sustained falling over pissed during a night out there, and not in training camp.
As it stands there's absolutely no chance of a comeback.
Allegedly

To be fair Fury at the moment is about 28 stone. I'd pick just about anyone to beat him if they fought right now.

If Fury comes back it will be for the money. He can't get back to the level he was at. I would have made him a slight favourite to beat AJ and Wilder.

So nothing to do with being charged by UKaD the day before they announce the "injury" which was fine for him to jump up and down like an idiot in France days later

I'm not gonna use the R word here, but this thread would suggest to me that there's a certain...ahem...favoritism toward white fighters in the U.K.
Because I can't think of any logical reason why people would ever have picked Fury to beat Joshua.
Maybe Joshua gets his arm stuck in one of Tyson's fat rolls, and gets sucker punched with a cheap shot in the process?

Just a thought, there's certainly never been anything Fury showed in the ring that should have anybody favoring him in this fight, so what else is it?
I mean I could be wrong, but I'm mystified that people would pick Fury to beat Joshua.

Maybe because he made a younger, more current Klit look average by nullifying his assets, rather than nearly getting KO’d by an older, less active fighter. You don’t need to “go to war” to win a boxing match-ask Mayweather

He didn't nullify sh*t. He just happened to be in the ring while Wladimir didn't do anything to try to win. Hell anybody can look like a sharp defender when there's no punches coming at them.
Dodging 10 or 12 punches doesn't make you a great defensive technican.
If Wlad had fought like that against Joshua he'd have never won a round or landed a meaningful punch....because he'd have never even thrown one.
I don't understand what's hard for people to grasp about how completely different Wladimir himself performed in these two fights? ANYBODY could've beaten the Wlad that Fury fought. He didn't fight.
