Fvcking get in there Ricky,3 weight world champion bitches :bag: :bag: :bag: :bag: :bag:

1st of all it goes without saying that Di Rocco was awful, tough but awful, christ knows how he was European champ because i doubt we've had a British champ during his reign who wouldnt also beat him

I was impressed with Burns though, even in the non title fight wins he's had since Zlatacanin and Figueroa he hasnt looked as sharp as that, there was snap in his jab,he didnt hold(as much) and he got home with the right hand time and again and to get the KO is the icing,we can all moan about the belt but its the nature of the sport and as bizarre as it may be,this is for the only WBA title at SLW so he's a real champ in my eyes

   To Ricky Burns he deserves it after all he's been through :salut:

That Italian pot washer had no business fighting for a vacant world title strap. Ricky Burns is a nice fellar but to call him a 3 weight world champion is an insult to the greats of the past who turned the trick. He couldn't carry Henry Armstrong's jock strap, in reality

Next time some poster says, "x young fighter will never even win a British title - he's ****"

We must remind them, that 15-2 (3) Ricky Burns, rebuilding from a loss to Carl Johanssen became a a 3 WEIGHT WORLD CHAMP with 8 defences !
The Leicester City of boxing - well done Ricky

Broner whilst shown to be a hypejob to an extent- still think he would beat the brakes off the current Burns.

Ya, Broner was hyped beyond his abilites a few years ago, but he's still pretty good and I'd confidently take him over Burns. Broner had his 140 pound title shot handed to him as well, but the guy he outclassed for the title Ricky just won is far better than Di Rocco.
