That undercard was quality on the flip side so many good fights meant that normal sky shows were really bad a couple of aj headlined cards around then show then.

I want Spence to win but Im surprised he is ahead considering he hasn't been properly chin checked.
I also think like the Porter fight Brook will hold a lot and be able to get away with it

Avoiding, and fighting out of the clinch has been a sharp focus of Errol's training programme. And who wouldn't put some focus on that aspect after Porter was continually sucked into it?Naandrew wrote:I want Spence to win but Im surprised he is ahead considering he hasn't been properly chin checked.

Apart from that, there is no road map on how to beat Brook- other than fracturing his eye socket, and even then it was his corner, not Brook that threw in the towel.

I remember seeing Spence shook up against Lartey so he can definitely be hurt so that's a promising sign for Brook although Kell himself was hurt similar against SenchenkoNaandrew wrote:I want Spence to win but Im surprised he is ahead considering he hasn't been properly chin checked.

Matchroom & Eddie have both tweeted about no bags being allowed in the venue. No idea if this means small clutches for women.

Yeah, thats the only time I really remember either being wobbled. Obviously he was hurt against Golovkin but he still didnt touch down in the fight.handsofstone wrote:I remember seeing Spence shook up against Lartey so he can definitely be hurt so that's a promising sign for Brook although Kell himself was hurt similar against SenchenkoNaandrew wrote:I want Spence to win but Im surprised he is ahead considering he hasn't been properly chin checked.

Brook has proven durability. Nobody really knows if Spence can take a big shot, as his opponents up to now have not been the biggest punchers.
Neither result would really shock me. If Brook isnt too depleted by the weight cut, I could see him pulling off the victory.

I'm going. I really hope Kell wins but fear a combination of the eye socket and yo yoing weight will be his undoing. I also wonder if his leg injury is 100% in a longer fight. I can see him being pulled out again.
Re: Kell Brook vs. Errol Spence - May 27th 2017
I'm back and forth on this one , really can't pick an argument for either one to beat the other ,, but what i do think is the eye will not be a problem , i'm basing this on having the same injury and over the years being punched hard and it never happenning again .
The weight , well looking at Spence he actually seems to be a bit bigger so he probably has the same problems , its been said that he eats better inbetween camps , i don't think it will be a factor its what there doing in the buildup that matters , they will both keep themselves in shape in between fights ,, Brook is'nt stupid he knows what to do , he's certainly not a Ricky Hatton who gets obscenly overweight in between fights

Does anybody anticipate that Brook will fail the weigh in?
Re: Kell Brook vs. Errol Spence - May 27th 2017
He is only 1 pound over with 24 hrs to go.fightfan95 wrote:Does anybody anticipate that Brook will fail the weigh in?
I think he is well in control of the weight

Yeah, he has done the weight drop very well and professionally I think. There're still a lot of doubters that think he will be over...KiwiRider wrote:He is only 1 pound over with 24 hrs to go.fightfan95 wrote:Does anybody anticipate that Brook will fail the weigh in?

I never noticed it at the time but I saw lots of others mentioning it- what was up with Brook only throwing his left hand in that pad session?

Stood square on Kell did look bigger...... also Spence has that high guard and doesn't really move his head in a few of Brooks fight he has been good at punching through and around high held hands....could be a factor
Re: Kell Brook vs. Errol Spence - May 27th 2017
I said on another thread but got no reply, has spence ever had an eye problem? His left eye looks like David Reid's used too

Dom Ingle came across very well there at the final press conference.
He's a sensible chap, he knows that any press conference beef is just gonna use up nervous energy so he takes the steam out of the situation with a bit of humour. Very well played.

my perception, for what its worth. having seen both fighters at close quarters in sheffield yesterday is that kell is in fantastic shape, spence 's arms looked thin as if he was drying out a bit. but all will be revealed on sat night. may the best man win and both fighters stay healthy.
Re: Kell Brook vs. Errol Spence - May 27th 2017
Leaning more towards Kelly as the night approaches. If he's in that shape and on weight, I think he could stop Spence.
Re: Kell Brook vs. Errol Spence - May 27th 2017
Any thoughts on why Kell didn't throw any right hands in the media workout?
Re: Kell Brook vs. Errol Spence - May 27th 2017
Thats what I said earlier in the thread. Its a strange one. I really hope he's not got a badly bruised/swollen right hand.Limmo wrote:Any thoughts on why Kell didn't throw any right hands in the media workout?
