Back to my point about matchmaking too often it's just about taking shortcuts to rankings and picking up an easy belt without being testing which means not learning.

They saw Casimero as an easy belt to get. STUPID matchmaking he smashed Reunrong and had fought all over the world in hostile places and still got results.

Exactly, or Mexico, Argentina and the Philippines. They'd learn more in one of those gyms for a month than they would in a year over here. Get them off to the Ohashi, Teiken or Ioka gym and they'd learn so much. Conlan could well do with some time over there too.

Had they done that they'd have been fully aware of the gulf in class between Louis Norman and Casimero

Don't think they will do the same at super flyweight red hot right now. Chocolatito, Cuadras and Estrada don't have belts !!

Edwards is cruising here.

Edwards clearly needs better sparring - he looks good because of his speed advantage, but at a higher level will be clobbered for these defensive lapses.

A bit more power wouldn't hurt either. Well, not him anyway.

I would struggle to give Butcher 2 rounds. Won't argue with a shutout here.

It's hard to say. These divisions at this level are a lot more competitive now. Chris Edwards showed it could be done through sheer determination a while back. I hope he can bounce back.

I was expecting a close competitive fight but it was anything but, i had Edwards winning every round, Butcher just couldn't get to grips with his speed, it was by far the best ive seen Edwards box, it was a mature performance and he never switched off once, fought at a high pace and was always on his toes shooting out the jabs and hooks, he hasn't got the power but his speed and footwork are dangerous, Butcher for his part was flat from the off, feet were too slow to close the gap and he was very predictable for Edwards by just marching forward, i don't know if it was the weight or Edwards style but he was giving a lesson tonight

I liked Edwards though
