That was priceless! That comes when you constantly talk out off your ass. effing hilarious! Where is the chin????

People claiming a beard gives ANY RELEVANT cushioning obviously never boxed a minute in their lives. No other explanation for shite like that.
Well you're wrong about that too.
Nature gives men beards for two reasons, to protect against cold and to protect against impacts. Women don't have beards on humans because their natural role is to be at home, whether home was a cave or is a house. This current nonsense with beards starts small, like the little goatee, and then it evolves into big mountain man beards getting allowed, the impact resistance being relative to the size.
There are so many things wrong with that post I don't know where to begin! LMAO! JK...or am I?

JK=Just Kidding. IT's just the women's role in the home. If me wifey saw that I'd somehow be blamed for it and I'd be in for a beating! Beards may have some role as you say, but in boxing, it needs to be quite the bushy chinstrap to absorb a blow, and besides, it's the brain rattling around the skull that causes the problem, so the "concusiveness" of a punch is not impacted so much if at all. Maybe the pain but not the impact.

Ha ha yeah i know. That's why on second thought i edited it. Next we'll be arguing over whether womens boxing and mma is a good thing and whether women are the same as men except for the common lack of beards in the former which can be remedied by the ingestion and injection of the appropriate hormones. Anyway, i quit. I've said my say. It wasn't me who resuscitated this thread. Here's my final word on the subject:
Beards and womens boxing should be outlawed just as they have been for the past ten tnousand years. But don't tell your wife i said that.

You may want to check up on that. During most of the last ten thousand years, neither beards, nor women's boxing, nor boxing with beards, nor women boxing with beards, have been outlawed. Unless you have found some Sumerian cuneiform tablets that say otherwise, I'm going to go on record as saying that it hasn't even been six thousand years.

In 1985 a lab measured a power punch from Frank Bruno. 920 psi. Do you really think the millimeters of hair on someone's face is going to lessen a power punch anywhere around that power to any effect? Comon now....

I did find womens boxing back in the early 18th century, so i withdraw that repulsive so called sport from my polemic. However, despite an extensive google search lasting almost 120 seconds, i cannot find any historical evidence of a boxing champion with a beard except for recent years. As far as i can tell beards were never allowed in boxing. Show me evidence of any historical boxing champ with a beard, photo, drawing, cave painting, etc., including your Sumerians.

In boxing. That goes for women boxers too. Some of those "women" boxers look like they could grow a bigger beard than me. Again, Oogeeboogee, don't tell your wife i said that

Good find. OK then, make that only the last 2,500 years that beards haven't been allowed in boxing!

We're going to find out pretty soon. Broner has a beard and will be demolished by Pac.
