You can fight all over the world without being a road warrior. Like, if they hand you the key to the city, you are not a road warrior. If there was a big crowd gathered to watch your plane land and every time you go out you get hounded for autographs, it doesn't matter how far from home you are, you are not a road warrior.

Monzón won his belt on the road and fought 12 of his 15 title defenses on the road, most of them at a time there was only one belt. Historically there are lots of fighters from South America and Central America who are road warriors. I am a big fan of Usyk and what he has accomplished but a lot of good fighters have been road warriors. Roman Gonzalez has fought 21 title fights over four weight divisions. All of them on the road. Arguello fought more than 20 title fights, all but one on the road, he won titles at three weights, all on the road.

true, it's like when people try to say manny pac is a great road warrior becasue he always fights in the usa :lol:

The thing with Usyk is he’s fought different nationalities and each time went into their backyard.

I met the Mouse when he was over with heavyweight Rick Kellar in 1983 in London. Bruce was blown away by the Albert Hall.
