No way Golovkin willingly gives up the middle of the ring vs anyone. Canelo was juicing while Golovkin was ageing. 2 very evenly matched fighters but the pendulum's swung to Canelo, it's his time.

One things for sure, you'd do anything to back up on GGG.

Are you suggesting that Golovkin didn’t fight on the back foot against Canelo in their rematch? Sanchez criticised Canelo for “running” in the first fight but wouldn’t concede that Golovkin employed the same tactics in the rematch.

If he does Canelo gonna get a different storyline.

Im hoping that you are right. Mostly cause I don't like Canelo or his boss. Hope that the kid gets wrecked by Jacobs.

I do too and it's not really anything to do with Jacob's miracle, as awesome as it was.

It's just this treatment of the Cinnamon man like he's God's representative here on Earth, I just don't get it. I mean he's an excellent fighter, definitely somewhere in the conversation for current P4P, but if I'm any judge he certainly lost the first fight with Golovkin and I thought the second also, admittedly much less like a robbery.

The Mexicans love him and he has established himself as the biggest or second biggest name/earner currently active in Boxing. Would he be anything like as successful if he were from Japan for example ?

So far he hasn't been able to dominate his own division. His unbeaten record only still exists because of his popularity and marketability, and he has Las Vegas's corrupt officiating to thank for that. On top of that he may very well be a drug-cheat. It's because of this Canelo worship that I find myself wanting him to get his come-uppance. Then that pisses me off that I feel that way about a very good fighter.

Has this been covered....there’s a rehydration clause. The advantage Jacobs took against Golovkin will not be allowed. Canelo by Ko.

Hearn said that he may cover Danny's penalty for extra same day weight.

Canelo was pushed to the ropes all the time in their first fight. Golovkin was never on the ropes in their second. It wasn't really the back foot, it was just not following Sanchez's "Mexican style" concept.

Frankly it didn't matter what style GGG used against Canelo, the fix was in. Getting a win against Canelo in Vegas is clearly impossible without a KO/stoppage? Like many before him Gennady Golovkin is a changed man after his Vegas experiences.

Canelo may just be the most protected boxer this sport has yet seen. He was a different boxer after his bout with Mayweather, in and out of the ring.

Are things so gone that's it's really too much to ask for a decisive result that we can agree upon this Saturday night?

If anything honest happens in Mafia Vegas it's only by accident.

Dude, you are watching too many movies! Boxing doesn't need La Cosa Nostra to be crooked.

Am i the only one who actually like undercard of this fight?

Vergil Ortiz vs Mauricio Herrera: Herrera is faded, ut he is still a test for prospect Ortiz who looked good so far.
Joseph Diaz vs Freddy Fonseca: After loss from Russell, Fonseca is very interesting oponent despite poor oposition he faced.
Sadam Ali vs Anthony Young: Winner of this fight will be on welterweight champs radar
John Ryder vs Bilal Akkawy: Ryder was scheduled to fight Lemieux, but Akkawy is very good replacement
Lamont Roach vs Jonathan Oquendo
Francisco Esparza vs Aram Avagyan: Both undefeated, both unknown. Lets see who is real prospect

Just like main event all of these fights are pretty evenly matched, i like it a lot :box: :box: :box:

Dave Moretti obviously is a judge. What a joke. How this continues to go unabashed is beyond me. Not even renting it. Let me guess, another Canelo raping on the cards.

This fight must be huge.

The Los Angeles Times, which has hated boxing for several decades, published a 12 page separate section on the bout, in today's edition.

Titled "Duel of Kings," the special section is in both English and Spanish.

The Times didn't publish a special edition for Fury-Wilder, and that one took place here in Los Angeles. The Times all but ignored that bout.

So undoubtedly the Canelo Factor contributed heavily to the decision to run with the section. Largely Hispanic L.A. is obviously major Canelo territory.

I'd be remiss not to mention that there are only 2 advertisements in the section. One in each language. Both full page.
