It won’t and shouldn’t be. He didn’t even really see where Glowacki head was since he was coming up from a crouch stance. He won. Glowacki is a good fighter and I’m sure he’ll bounce back. But he should stay away from Breidis

Logics of some people in this thread - Holyfield fauled a lot with his head, Tyson should not be DQ.

All kidding aside, I wouldn't be surprised if the fight ends up being ruled a NC and a rematch being ordered.

A bit of both. This fight's outcome isn't good for boxing. It would tarnish the WBSS further if left as is. The ref was clueless.

I can't imagine Golovkin intentionally serving a rabbit punch like Glowaki did. But if miracle happened and he did that, he would be protecting himself after that.

Latvian businessman who are behind Briedis are also behind WBSS, This is why a lot of big fights were held in Riga, this is why they almost robbed Usyk, this is why Briedis was allowed on mma rules vs Glowacki. And i know this from someone who talks with the big people of boxing like Haymon and Hearn on a regular basis.

A huge % of fighters commit an unintenional foul in a sport like boxing, in a lot of fights, every week. Almost knocking out someone with an elbow punch in boxing happens few times per century.

It was an awfully good elbow smash, I have to admit.
