How about Andy Ruiz dressed as a travler and knocking out Fury with those wicked fast punches.

If Wallin had a huge KO punch he'd be potential heavyweight champ. Unfortunately that's not something that can be developed, it's a natural ability.

I don't like how they have put a bloody circus around Fury with Bob Arum and so on.

I hate Arum. Reptilian bastard, just like Warren. Also Espn is own by Disney so they nutter Fury with dumb sh*t. Don't tell me that post-fight interview wasn't abite scripted....

Getting to old for this sh*t.

But good showing by Wallin. Kudos to him. Hope that he gets a good money fight next with another named guy.

It is not the fight per say, it is all this circus bs around Fury that has to go. He don't need to sellout like this...

And again. F**k Arum, ruthless reptilian bastard.

I agree with you 100%! Also, I had to turn off the sound so as not to have to hear the idiot babbling of little bug eyed Max Kellerman and Ward.

You guys really get caught up in all that crap. I'm only interested in was it a good fight, were the judges fair, and how much does it cost me? Sure, I think Fury's Mexican crap is stupid. It annoys me when he mentions Jesus too.

I guess my point is there is so much nonsense in society, I've become immune.

It really a sad sight to see. And least of all see them milk him dry and throw him outbroken like Ali.

Hate to see that this bastards countine their own storylines and destroying fighters life in the process.

Espn has gone fullblown circus. Kicking out Teddy Atlas since he lost his mind over the decision in Pacman-Horn. It was a really bad one.

Now when the Heavyweight game is getting hot, of course we see BS like this.

The next coming 5 years gonna be fun. But, I hope somebody gets Fury out of that sh*t sooner then later.

This sport can break anybody, fighter to fan.

There's a lot I don't like about ESPN, but I don't know what you're talking about. I may agree, I just can't follow.

Commenters like George Foreman, Atlas, even Malignaggi - who am I forgetting? - they didn't always say what the bosses wanted to hear, so now they have these robots who always toe the party line. I really miss the old days when the commenters just broadcast the fight and nothing else - like "it's a left, a hard right to the midsection, and he's down!", like that.

The whole show last night was so horrible. Worst prelims I ever heard of and almost endless, and then the idiot ring entrance by Fury. The main event amazingly turned out to be great though which was a big surprise for everybody.

Two bizarre things that nobody mentioned, especially the second:

Fury's trunks were so high, pulled up almost to his chest! The ref should have noticed.

When the fight ended Fury took his trunks off! I thought he was going to get naked and take the craziness to a new level!

You can't go back to the past. Liston and Patterson came out in black/white. Their gloves were the same color. There was no entrance music. Maybe 1 national anthem at most. No dancing in funny hats.

There were also virtually no tattoos, ring card girls. Marciano didn't have matching earrings like Wilder.

It's a different time gents and a lot of it sucks. I'd keep the ring card girls and throw out most of the rest.

Yeah, even talking about exciting fights, they only mentioned Bud, Loma and Fury, as if there is nothing else exciting in boxing.

Did anybody think that Weeks was too eager to separate fighters immediately thus protecting Fury's cut ?

I'm smug that I knew that Wallin had it in him!

I agree with you, Ilya. That hurts. Didn't Paulie get off after Wilder-Ortiz? Then again they gave Wilder extra seconds to recover in the start of round 8?

Lot of money is moving in other words.

Yes, and I think that a lot. If 1 of 4 hands are free, go at it.

I think he means they are making a mockery of Fury, using fighters (and commenters) then throwing them away when they are no longer "earners". Same like they do with wrestlers.

I don't know whose idea the Mexican stuff is. As I've said I think it looks stupid, but I'm not going to let it bother me.

Promoters and managers have been ripping off fighters for literally centuries. I think King is worse than Arum. But of course, when a fighter is spent, they are like a cow that doesn't produce any milk.

Again I agree 100%

Better yet - in the 1970's some places had ring card girls that were topless! :) More likely now, though, they'll be going with transvestite or transgender, or whatever the hell they call themselves, ring card "girls"...
