I'll throw in a couple that I don't believe have been mentioned.

Cuban heavyweight Nino Valdes won three fights by KO/TKO in the UK, against Don Cockell, Dick Richardson and Brian London (the fight with London was stopped due to a cut).

Germany's former European heavyweight champion Karl Mildenberger beat a string of British boxers. Mildenberger started out as a light-heavy: British boxers he defeated: Arthur Howard, Ron Redrup, Alex Buxton, Joe Bygraves (born in Jamaica but longtime resident of Birkenhead), Joe Erskine and Billy Walker. Mildenberger basically beat up a game Walker in eight rounds in a European title fight in London. But Dick Richardson KO'd Mildenberger in one round in Dortmund in a big upset, while in his last fight, at Wembley, a shot Mildenberger got himself DQ'd for butting Henry Cooper.

Guy Gracia of France has been mentioned. As I recall, the Brit writers back in the 1950s dubbed Gracia "The destroyer of British lightweights."
Nice to see you here again Graham, whatever happened to your excellent online work, you used to have a fabulous betting column, but not seen it for a while now.

Thanks James. The betting column was commissioned by the Boxing Social website but they (as the saying goes) "went in a different direction" as regards the site's content. I do have a small subscription service but I keep it small, and now it's basically just members who have been with me for more than a decade. I did an online piece for one website not long ago but that was just a one-off thing and only because the site's editor reached out to me.

I totally can't remember Fry fought Jones jnr. I'm getting old but have no memory. I had ro check. I still can't believe it
Fry was mustard as an amateur, what happened to him as a pro? The results didn't carry over..

He got ironed out by David Haye in a big grudge match. Amateur style not suited to pro

did they fight twice as ams? There is only one fight listed in ams on boxrec and its listed as a walk over.

Fry had a good profile when he turned pro as he was along with Audley the only British boxer at the 2000 Olympics. Never really happened for him as a pro. He's a youth worker now.

Benn only has Eubank for a big money fight, Eubank does have other options, it's not a fight he can win but at least he can say he fought for a world title and fought the best

Or he can fight Benn again
