Why look to doctors in this time of need when you’ve got absolutely uneducated morons preaching about something they know less than nothing about, have never studied and no medical background whatsoever... on a boxing forum? Thanks for your input. It’s duly unnoted
Mate you are the clueless one here. Believe any old lies the media feed you.

Do some research buddy boy. You will find that the average age of those that have died in Italy is 80 years old and that 99% of them had underlying health problems

600,000 people die every year from normal flu.

Thus far 13,000 have died from this "killer bug"

Yeah buddy, I conclude that this ain't no normal flu bug.

Fake news. Wake up you moron and start thinking for yourself   :-P

I imagine you are one of the Muppets standing in line from 5 am to stock up on toilet paper??
The news is heart breaking, absolutely awful. We all have a role to play in battling this

I hope this cretin never returns to the forum and retires to whatever hole he came out from

Exactly there’s levels to having an opinion . Absolute vile idiot. Condolences to yarde, not just one but two family members. Anyone seen the latest BBBoC ruling? I don’t think boxing will happen in England this year.

Dana White claims to have secured a private island that they're building infrastructure on to host fights. I wonder if they'll start leasing the venue to Boxing once built if there's enough financial motivation?

I know it's a different "sport" but both wwe and aew have continued to produce their wrestling shows in empty arenas yet the viewing figures are falling despite everyone being at home and presumably looking for distraction.

Will be interesting to see if Dana can pull this off and then whether people will put their money down for a ppv in these uncertain times.

AEW have pre-taped all the way til May, so they won't be doing any more tapings now. Their PPV Double or Nothing is set for end of May, they've taped Dynamite until start of May.

WWE have just stated they had record numbers viewing the WrestleMania weekend. Also Monday's raw saw in increase too.

It's true the numbers are not where they should be, especially when people are at home.

WWE issued the following:

WrestleMania Sets More Records

In addition to WrestleMania becoming the most social event in WWE history, WWE set WrestleMania Week viewership records with more than 967 million video views across the company’s digital and social platforms including WWE Network, WWE.com, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat, an increase of +20 percent year-over-year.

Additionally, a record 46 million hours of content was consumed during WrestleMania Week, an increase of +28 percent year-over-year.

As previously announced, WrestleMania was the most social event in WWE history with more than 13.8 million total social media interactions on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, +57 percent vs. last year’s WrestleMania, according to Nielsen Social.

The empty arena TV show ratings are plummeting, the fact that wwe are reduced to bragging about social media numbers says it all.

Very sad. When u think boxing will resume in England again? I don’t personally see it happening until October but there’s talk of June behind closed doors. Hard to do it when NHS are going to be not normal for a long time

I'd imagine it would also be much harder to get fights made when you take out the venue income through ticket sales.

Lower level guys will need the money, so might fight for less than normal, but if you're a bigger name it's hard to say fight now for X but you could earn a lot more when arenas open again.

Would Kell Brook want to go out in an empty arena? Surely he'd have as much chance of one more pay day in six-eight months as now and it would be worth a lot more when it happened?

Also would Sky or BT see the return on investment of paying for a British title fight in an empty York Hall?

Sad times all round, although obviously this is nothing compared to the loss of life and how it has impacted those in the game.

As long as the NHS is under the strain it is under I can't see any boxing going ahead, a lot of events(not just boxing) require medical staff to be on hand and as long as they're needed elsewhere there won't be any available to attend.

That's what I try to tell people when they start going on about how easy it would be to play football and rugby behind closed doors.
