Instead we get the endless poor Dave Allen story.
Well if he takes Vallilay for fuk all money, Before the TV telecast thats him for the year. i guess its something, But i can see why he is holding out, still slots on the Whyte and AJ card or even the billy jo Saunders card. If your only going to box once this year i can see why he is gambling to hold out or a good fight.

King would’ve wanted paying for effectively handing over the nifty WBA rating he’d purchased, throwing a spanner in Hearn putting together his PPV on the cheap.

This is certainly a can miss undercard for the ages

Apart from the main event the undercard is shocking. I wouldn’t even watch it if it were free on a Wednesday night.

Fine. I get it, but be honest about it instead of banging on about having a fight in the toilets and how his training camp has been a waste of time. He was happy to fight a 4 rounder in the event of it getting called off, now it is called off. He's gonna sit on his hands and wait for a better slot. Allen isn't a fool, but he's taking people for fools.

He's retired!!

“Boxing has been great. I go down in history as one of the only heavyweights to retire undefeated,” he proclaimed. “And the first-ever undefeated heavyweight to retire with a one hundred percent KO ratio with at least 15 wins.

“WBA ranked. IBF ranked. My haters, I know I made you all happy. To my supporters, I’m sorry I let you all down. The haters won. You all did that,” he concluded.

Didn't he go see Don King with $8k in cash to buy out his contract (which he'd partly raised from friends) but Don wanted double, so nothing happened and Lovejoy had to sit it out until he became a free agent in May ? Am sure I read that somewhere. He'll be back. Whatever the limitations of his abilities he's put in some work to build that record and needs to cash in/out on it.

Heavyweight GOAT. anyone that disagrees is a hater. Ali, losses. Mike tyson, losses. Rocky had a pathetic 6 decision wins in his pathetic pillow fisted carrer. LOVEJOY IS THE HEAVYWEIGHT GOAT.

He'll be back as soon as he contract with Don King promotions ends...or King snuffs it, whichever happens first.

“If I come back, I’m going to keep my winning streak going. Oh, my bad, my KO streak is going! – Who will it be next?” – questioned Lovejoy.

“Who is my next victim? – David Allen, Alen Babic, Martin Bakole or Joe Joyce?”

Revealing insight into his mindset and frustration on the matter, Lovejoy aired his views.

“As a successful retired boxer, I can actually speak facts,” he pointed out.

“All these unsuccessful boxing people got the fighters fooled“A message to fighters talking to trainers, managers, and promoters, ask your trainer to show you his BoxRec (bio). See if he or she did what they tellin you to do.

“Go talk to your managers and see how successful their previous fighters were. Are they happy with how they managed them?

“Ask them what they can do that you cant do yourself, and ask the promoter what fighters they have made money fighting and were the fighters happy with the promoter?

“I’ll have to repost to remind,”
he concluded.
