Terry O'Conner's been on the phone, says Taylor needs a knock out for the draw.

Once in a life time talent according to Macklin. Hope your all appreciative of this

As much as I like Katie Taylor, Smith and Macklin are going massively overboard on the compliments. It’s quite cringeworthy.

If i had a bet on Katie taylor by knockout i would be seething.
Re: Round-by-Round: Katie Taylor vs. Miriam Gutierrez - 14 November 2020
3-minute rounds and KT would have been in the dressing room by now
Re: Round-by-Round: Katie Taylor vs. Miriam Gutierrez - 14 November 2020
Smith mentioning Mayweather too
Re: Round-by-Round: Katie Taylor vs. Miriam Gutierrez - 14 November 2020
Floyd Mayweather, Sugar ray Leonard and Katie Taylor - Adam Smith 2020
Re: Round-by-Round: Katie Taylor vs. Miriam Gutierrez - 14 November 2020
I’m quite surprised that all three judges didn’t have that 100-89.
Re: Round-by-Round: Katie Taylor vs. Miriam Gutierrez - 14 November 2020
What round did Gutierrez win ?!
Re: Round-by-Round: Katie Taylor vs. Miriam Gutierrez - 14 November 2020

Re: Round-by-Round: Katie Taylor vs. Miriam Gutierrez - 14 November 2020
how the fornicate did a judge give Miriam 2 rounds.... That will get forgoten becuase the right person won but how, just how dose that happen. There was one round (katie still won it) that miriam did anything at all, the other 9 were just horrendouse beatdowns that were almost sickening to watch, meaning a pro judge gave one of those sickening beatdown rounds to the victim...
Edit, (actualy 1 to miriam and one even.) But still, point remains, what was he watching...

Worse call than Ritson winning imo.

Hearn and sky are absolute piss takers
Re: Round-by-Round: Katie Taylor vs. Miriam Gutierrez - 14 November 2020
Tonights bill was pure dross. You'd see better at a white collar bill, thats how poor it was. Watching the crawford-brook bill now, these early fights were better than anything sky and hearn served up tonight
Re: Round-by-Round: Katie Taylor vs. Miriam Gutierrez - 14 November 2020
I agree with the posts on here saying that Hearn is killing boxing. I'm biased because I think the guy has all the class of a used car salesman but surely few would disagree that recent Sky boxing output has been grim.
I forked out for that joke of a PPV card featuring Usyk v Chisora then got more entertainment in a couple of rounds of Santa Cruz v Davis for free on Channel 5 a few hours later. I'd watched the Sky bill with the volume down on the telly because I can't stand Adam Smith's typical non-stop barrage of verbal diahorrhea (blah blah....lovely bloke outside the ring...blah...great family man...blah). Him and Macklin have to be the worst ever commentator / "expert" combination in UK broadcasting. As much as I respected Macklin as a fighter I don't see him bringing blinding analytical insight to his role.
As for the hype train over women's boxing....there simply aren't enough quality operators at the moment to make enough compulsive bouts. Smith's hyperbole about Taylor tonight was laughable. To hear him you'd think you'd just watched the boxing equivalent of the second coming of Christ.
