Eddie laying this out for his judges now
I genuinely don’t think there’s any bribery or anything like that. I think it’s pure incompetence and nothing ever happens about it. Who were the judges?

why does pure incompetence so hugely favour the house fighters though, rather than around 50-50 ?

As soon as I heard the judges named in the announcements.
My stomach lurched.
Poor Kiko. He trained hard, produced a great performance.
The amount he made Barret miss..

I thought Kiko won, reasonably handy. Could give zelfa 2,3 rounds 4 at a push. If you’re going to rob a fighter, be subtle about it. They made it look like kiko got beat from pillar to post when it was the reverse. As Eddie said, and I disagree with Eddie a lot it does no fighters any favours. Not kiko, not zelfa. If, (and I doubt) zelfa thinks by boxing that way he can win fights he will get destroyed in a neutral ground against any operator even one level above. It’s counterproductive for both fighters.

And no home crowd to sway them either, which is the usual excuse.

I cannot wait to see the round by round scorecards.

You can do Rounds 1 and 7-12 for Barrett. You'd be wrong. But you'd not be cheating.

Anything else and there is something else going on.

With £350 on Martinez I was like ‘you can not have been watching the fight if you score it that way to Barrett’ when they announced those cards.

I almost detected in the MC that he was embarrassed reading the scores.

When the MC took his time announcing ‘from Mmmmmmmmmanchester’ I knew the fix was in.

I think it’s because it’s an easier decision and the perception is that if it’s a round that’s even remotely close then I’ll give it to the fighter I’ve seen several times before and they’ll get less shit giving it to the home fighter than the away fighter.

Yeah when they read it I thought it was for Martinez, I think they were fair scores for a Martinez win.

Nevertheless I think they will see it's worth cashing out with Barrett now, expect a world title fight in America now.

Oh man that is shocking.

Eddie having the brass neck to condemn the scorecards is unbelievable, he’s the greedy corrupt fornicator influencing the judges

Yeah - he’s nothing special. Was losing his last fight until he landed a big punch and not this fight.

Will likely lose his next competitive fight.

How’s Eddie greedy and corrupt?

Shite judging happens on U.K. shows regardless of the promoter - the standard of judging in this country is just really poor.
