Nah. I'd move about with him for a lot less than that and I haven't gloved up for nearly 20 years.

I don't know at all, I was just suprised I guess. You hear how the heavyweights earn a lot more across the board. I did think this was more than a 6 rounder tho so 5k does make more sense now. I remember seeing Joe Hanks's purse vs Joe Joyce tho and thinking 'christ the heavyweights really do earn more don't they.' I know that was a PPV card but it was way down a long card.

Maybe Fisher's dad needs to be think before he speaks? Johnny sells a lot of tickets but how good is he? If he's not that good he should be careful before he says things that could upset the applecart. There's always another popular, bang average local fighter who can shift tickets and keep winning when matched well. Maybe they'll offer him 4000 tickets next time and half the commission rate, what else is he going to do? "take it or leave. Johnny, you are earning the best part of £50 grand fighting a knockover, don't get greedy".
