Nah. I'd move about with him for a lot less than that and I haven't gloved up for nearly 20 years.

Links to football clubs mean nothing if they're not real.maverick23 wrote: ↑10 Feb 2022, 07:45Yep. For a guy without a link to a football club and at his level it’s really impressive and will keep growing each fight if he keeps performing.

What does me in is when they bang on about it so Frank Buglioni was mine. Every commentary. Every interview. Every time his name part escaped someone’s lips
‘You know that Frank Bug…….’
‘GAHHHHHHHHHHH He sells loads of tickets don’t you know!!!!’

I don't know at all, I was just suprised I guess. You hear how the heavyweights earn a lot more across the board. I did think this was more than a 6 rounder tho so 5k does make more sense now. I remember seeing Joe Hanks's purse vs Joe Joyce tho and thinking 'christ the heavyweights really do earn more don't they.' I know that was a PPV card but it was way down a long card.Coco wrote: ↑10 Feb 2022, 18:03
I can't see it,, if this guy gets 5k I reckon it will be a career high purse.
How much do you think fighters earn?
And Matchroom pay less and Joyce is an Olympic silver medallist.jameswilson wrote: ↑11 Feb 2022, 12:01I don't know at all, I was just suprised I guess. Maybe Fisher's dad needs to be think before he speaks? Johnny sells a lot of tickets but how good is he? If he's not that good he should be careful before he says things that could upset the applecart. There's always another popular, bang average local fighter who can shift tickets and keep winning when matched well. Maybe they'll offer him 4000 tickets next time and half the commission rate, what else is he going to do? "take it or leave. Johnny, you are earning the best part of £50 grand fighting a knockover, don't get greedy".mickey1975 wrote: ↑11 Feb 2022, 13:52 Fishers own father said they would have sold 4,000 but they were only allowed 2,300 so he had to redirect them all to StubHub. Nobody at that level sells close to that except Heany. 120 is considered ok, 200 good. Josh couldn't do 200 early on, neither Hatton. Its ridiculous support.589555 wrote: ↑11 Feb 2022, 14:07Maybe Fisher's dad needs to be think before he speaks? Johnny sells a lot of tickets but how good is he? You are right. Ricky's fanbase was grown in large part from Arnie's and Gomez'.
