Actually shows that Anna Woolhouse is a pretty good presenter.

I’m surprised Eggington has signed with Hennessy - particularly given how many strong domestic light middleweights Matchroom have.

Still over 30 minutes to go. Suspect they will cut the transmission short. I love the fact that Channel 5 cover boxing, but they drop some real clangers.

Cringeworthy. Why do broadcasters feel the need to shoehorn palpably under qualified women into prominent roles just to tick boxes.

Why do boxing fans have to be insulted with a presenter who is clueless on the subject she is presenting

We've had to put up with some real sh1t over the years....John Inverdale, Mark Bright (so bad it had to seen to be believed), Adrian Chiles, the bloke who played "Kelvin" in East Enders and whoever this talentless lady is on Channel 5 to name but a few

Can you imagine the seamless job Alex Steadman would have done with Bunce and Taylor in the studio ?!

Steadman not only knows Frampton's career inside out but unlike that whopping great tit Fearon, really does have master knowledge of boxing that can educate the not so well informed and at the same time still speak to the more well informed.

The channel 5 coverage was obviously poor but in fairness they only got the fight in fight week.

It was tough to watch but to be expected with how bad he’s looked since leaving Shane McGuigan.

All the warning signs were there. Talking about retirement, whinging about the low blow in the first round, taking an age to get off the stool at the start of round two. He looked dreadful to be honest.

Obviously some of that was down to Herring been a good fighter & using his height & reach well but Frampton’s clearly regressed.

he looked tired of it all. couldn't pull the trigger even when he set something up.

Yep, this sums it up for me as well. If you’d been watching the fight ‘cold’ without knowing his history, you’d struggle to believe that was a former 2-time world champion in there.
Glad he’s retiring as clearly nothing left in the tank.

According to Compubox Frampton only landed 4 jabs in 6 rounds. it was very strange the way he was pawing with his left hand, as if there was spiders webs in front of him. I'm not making excuses for him but his hand may still have been damaged. it didn't help Herring seeing his right hand being thrown every time. Been to many of his fights, had many good nights. Enjoy your retirement you will have plenty of time to go fishing. Good luck chum. (Chum get it)

He was totally outgunned. Never in the fight at all. Not the ideal way to go out but he’s had a good career. Right time to finish it.

Trawling through his record, not sure Herring's got the mussels to reel Trout in. He'll be floundering all night and well behind at the fin.
