Zurdo stopped him without leaving first gear.

Great night of boxing and Sergio Mora Truly Ads. :box:

Hats off to Jo Jo. He overcomes adversity very well. Hope more of his critics come around. He’ll be a tough contender at 135. I can see him beating Haney, but it’s a really tough fight for him. I’d favor Haney’s chances. Jo Jo is the kind of opponent he wants, not a huge puncher.

Zurdo was cool. Let’s see him get it on with some of the best out there at 175.

Seriously best part was the Truly ad. Even Mora looked like he was fighting back giggles.

Good job Zurdo, probably a good ways down the list of potential Canelo opponents though.
Zurdo still stepping straight back, hands down....
They mentioned Kovalev........he's a spent bullet but I'd like to see what happens when Zurdo steps straight back, hands down in front of Kovalev....

Another fun night of boxing on dazn.
The Sergio commercial was a highlight and I think it's just the beginning for him.

Next time he punches a heavy bag in the shape of a truly can, sipping its glorious spew each time he pounds a combination.

ODLH’s game plan, I believe, is to slowly force Canelo’s hand by feeding Zurdo a steady diet of beatable opponents at 175, keeping him undefeated, cornering a belt somewhere, and then selling out a stadium for the showdown on Cinco De Mayo weekend in 23. Eventually the fight will marinade long enough that the inevitable payday will bring it into existence.

The mismatch went according to the plan. Since there are some talks about Beter-Smith, Ramirez gotta fight Bivol now. Hopefully it won't be aged Kovalev. By the way, it's unclear what's about Kovalev's contract with De La Hoya now, after the PED scandal. Kovalev has talked about moving up.

If Ramirez is gonna fight Bivol next, this year, imo it won't matter that Ramirez fought&beat a 40 y/o washed up Barrera.

Lots of good fights this card. Id like to see Diaz fight Garcia(winner vs haney), fortuna fight zepeda (winner vs tank), Ramirez fight Bivol (winner vs canelo). all would close matchups i think.

If Kov wasn't a possible next opponent for Zurdo the commentators would not have kept bringing up his name.

And Kov owes DAZN 2 fights. But he’s being paid good money from them .

Sad to see Kov used in such ways and I assume needing money due to out of the ring issues.. he was always one of the my faves.

Can't imagine Canelo will let himself get backed in to a fight with 'beef !
That's clearly a step to far.
